Yea you should go for it. the pain is not to bad. you hurt for about a week at first then you pretty much get use to it.I am not gonna lie to you every time you get them tightened you will feel the pressure but you get use to it and it really only last about a day.I am glad I got them I have been told I have a beautiful smile by a few people so it definitely worth it. You will be able to eat solid food faster that 4 months. They just recommend you to cut an apple before you eat it instead of just bitting into it and try not to chew too much gum but that is really up to you. And you do lose weight but not too much usually after about a week or two weeks you will be able to go on to your regular self and eat when and what yo want no big deal. well good luck hope this helped.

yes it is worth alll the pain and money. I had 2 1/2 years with braces and now a have a billion dollar smile. Even if you may not want to have braces because you afraid it might be a turn-off for girl, well it might be, but let me tell you something- Me, and all my other girl-friends would MUCH rather go out with a guy with braces than messed up teeth. So bare the 6 months. After that, youll have perfect teath, what do ya got to lose?

Yes ,it is worth it! The first thing most people look at when you smile is your teeth. It makes your pictures better and you just feel better about yourself. They have veneers that you can get now, and it makes your teeth perfect without having to wear braces and they say it is painless and your teeth are fixed in like 2 visits. I would consult a cosmetic dentist to see if he can help before seeing an orthodontist.

depends on how you feel about your teeth. i don't think they are THAT painful. i probably went through more pain for my breast reduction. however, it was more pain in a shorter time span.
no one has a perfect smile unless you had braces, so if it's just little imperfections, then i wouldn't worry about it or else i'd get the invisible braces.
if it's bad, then get the braces and be done with it!!! you'll have a beautiful smile and feel good about yourself!
take care.

Why are you asking these people? I would think your wife's opinion should matter more than these people's. I love you no matter what condition your teeth are in. I fell in love with you, NOT your teeth! I want you to feel good about yourself, but we both work in the dental field, so it's not like you don't already know the answer to your question. If it's a matter of feeling better about yourself that's one thing. If it's a matter of looking good to please others, then there's a bigger problem here.
He's already married women....sorry! You can stop with the "girls like this and that crap".
