Sangria is Portuguese as well as Spanish. 1 bottle dry red wine, 1/2 cup brandy, 1/3 cup orange juice, 1/3 cup frozen lemonade,1/2 cup orange liqueur, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 2 cups chilled gingerale. thinly sliced lemons, limes and oranges, a few sprigs of fresh mint. Mix together the first 6 ingredients and refrigerate covered until thoroughly chilled ( app 1-2 hours) Add the gingerale just before serving. You can serve this in glasses or in a punch bowl. Garnish with the sliced fruit and mint sprigs if you want.

On holiday in Portugal about three years ago, we had a great cocktail called a "Dirty Banana" that we were advised to try because it was the local "thing". I looked up the recipe for you, here goes:
3/4 oz Creme de Banana
3/4 oz Dark Creme de Cacao
1/2 oz amaretto
Just fill the shaker with the cream, add the amaretto seperately afterwards, and serve over ice (preferably crushed).
Try it, it's a lot of fun. Enjoy!

I know several.
Wine (red, white and green) is the traditional Portuguese drink, Rosé being one of the most popular among foreigners but not very appreciated by Portuguese themselves. Vinho Verde, or green wine, is a specific kind of wine, which can be red, white or rosé, and is only produced in the northwest (Minho province). The term "Green wine" does not refer to the colour of the drink but to the fact that this wine needs to be drunk "young".
