Help with my HD TELEVISION?

Whats the slot for in the top of the tv it looks like the one you get on the side of a laptop and its about credit card size any ideas !

It could be a CableCard Slot or something similar.
If you have a Cablecard slot, you can get a card from your cable card company and watch both basic and scrambled Cable content.

Its goal is to completeley replace the set-top box.
