Cranberry juice has lots of antioxidents, which cleans out your system. I wouldn't try drinking loads of it if you have to pass a drug test, but it does help get rid of urinary tract infections.

Cranberry juice is highly effective in the treatment of urinary tract, bladder and kidney infections. The high amount of organic acid and other beneficial components in cranberry juice can help break down and prevent the formation of kidney stones. Cranberry juice is rich in Vitamin C, which create an emulsifying effect on the fat deposits in the body. So it is good for those people who want to clear some extra kilos. Cranberry juices are rich in some antioxidants which destroys the bacteria that cause stomach ulcers. Cranberry juices help prevent the formation of oral bacteria that lead to tooth decay. Be sure to check the ingredients of your purchase it should be l simply pure 100% juice, cranberry juice with no preservatives, artificial flavours or artificial colours. Many labels will simply say 100% juice, which does not necessarily mean 100% cranberry juice, but in fact only 30% juice, and not all of it cranberry, with the remainder of the beverage made from sweeteners and water. While the taste may still be refreshingly adequate, you will not be receiving the full spectrum of health benefits and nutrients inherent in 100% pure cranberry juice. 100% pure cranberry juice can sometimes be bitter. So in that case, try mixing a glass with some pure apple juice.

Yes, Cranberry juice has substances that alter the bacteria population in urine and a special factor in the juice seems to make harmful bacteria less likely to cling to the surface of cells in the urinary tracts.

You know cranberry juice works from the other answers, but it needs to be sugar free. Your best bet is to buy whole cranberries, they can be frozen, boil them in water til they pop and make sugar free cranberry juice.

Cranberry juice is very high in antioxidants, which help rid the body of free radicals and other toxins. Free radicals destroy the cells in your body, and antioxidants assist in destroying these free radicals. So to answer your question: yes, cranberry juice does assist in detoxifying the body, especially at the cellular level.

Cranberry juice is a mild detoxifier and when used continually, does a decent job.
If your desire is to detoxify quickly, look at EDTA liquid oral chelation. Nothing better.
