You should be fine now, the holes may still be a little open, but they are pretty much healed. If you get food caught in there you can easily rinse it out.
Our mouths heal faster that our other body parts.
You should be fine to eat solids as long as you are comfortable doing so.

You have been given good advice. Only you know how your child reacts to change. I suppose he needs so much work done because he wouldn't cooperate before. If he can tolerate it, get a duplicate mask and have him play putting it on and breathing in it. See if he can tolerate a visit to the office where the work will be done. Sit in the chair and show him how it's safe. Let him try. Anything that will scare him can be covered up. Do whatever you can to keep him from panicking before he is put under. He will be in a lot of pain and have discomfort for a few days after this work is done. I don't know if you should warn him or not. If he can tolerate medication, just have the pain pills or Tylenol on hand which will make him much more comfortable. Figure out what you will do if he just refuses or begins to fight. Sometimes you can be given medication that will relax him and make him sleepy before you go into the office so he will be more amenable. Good luck. You probably should check at the national autism programs or your local autism support groups to see if your dentist needs more information and get suggestions or a referral from other parents. Something I notice myself--I wish anesthesia could be started when I am partially sitting up rather than flat on my back. I seem to breathe easier that way and don't feel so vulnerable. I can tolerate that feeling, so have never asked if this is even possible..

You can eat your regular food within 1 week;the holes where your wisdom teeth once lived should fill in about a week;about 3-5 days for your jaw to heal.

I ate regular food 2 days after my surgery. There will be holes in your gums and food will get stuck in there, but your dentist should have given you a syringe that you can use to flush out the food after you eat. The holes can take 1-2 months to close completely.

You can start eating regular foods as soon as you full up to it, don't push yourself, but at 5 days you should be able to eat most things. Don't worry about the holes, they take alittle while to close, i think mine took a month or two. Just make sure to brush your teeth really well.

i just got my teeth pulled 2 weeks from today and Im eating solid foods. I started eating solid foods on christmas eve and i got them pulled on the 20th. As long as you rinse with warm salt water after you eat and brush ur teeth you will be fine. My holes are almost filled in completely. You can start eating solid foods now.

you should already be able to eat normal food by now. I would go ahead and start trying regular food and make sure you clean really good after eating. If you are still having a problem then I would make a follow up with your dentist.

Now should be fine. I had wisdom teeth pulled and I was eating pretty normal the day after. Just avoid playing with the holes. Jeesh didn't they tell you this stuff. Seems they're a bit irresponsible to me.

As long as you brush and gargle with the disinfectant like you've been advised, you shouldn't worry about it too much. Just go with what feels comfortable to you. If you are not in pain, then you can eat anything you want. I would think that you should really be close to normal after about a week.
