basically this is my side i met this girl about two weeks ago and she really likes me and i like her but her last relationship she went out with a 26 year old and shes only 18 and im 18 aswell and the guys she goes out wiv have cars and have money and respectable careers and im a civil engineer tech only an apprentice and i dnt get paid dat much and dnt have a car all i have is me and it makes me wonder y she lykes me out of the many guys dat fancy her and i mean many and shes doin gd 4 herself shes an independent lady has her own car and her own job and her future looks bright as in her career path and mines 2 but mine will take time and if we do go out i afraid i mite be an incovenience 2 her she comes and see me all the tyme we talk to all tymes of the hour in the mornin but a lot of guys fancy her even police officers damn now i dnt know how to play it wiv out being jealous help plz

I think that she's dating you for you and not your job. That's a good thing. If she were dating you for your money or your possessions, it wouldn't say much about her or the quality of your relationship.
If you're both only 18, you're not even through college yet. Careers usually come after you go through college. Don't feel like you have to rush to have everything just to make her happy.
So don't worry about why she's with you. What's important is that she IS with you. So enjoy that.

Apparently she see a true gentleman with a real heart.
Take your time it has only been two weeks. Never sell your self short. When you are 26 you will pass these other guys. Education and experience comes with time. Never compare your self to others. U are to young to be very serious about any one girl. Enjoy 18 it will never come again! take care God bless

Far as I understand the girl already knows what it's like to be with older guys with respectable careers but still prefers you! So she wants something different than what she had so far and you'd better just be yourself than trying to copy her X-es.As you say she's an independent lady who has her own car and stuff and that's just enough for her - she doesn't need toys, so give her what can't be bought with money! As for your being an inconvenience to her - sounds like she's mature enough to decide what's the best for her, so let her decide that - she knows what she wants! Good luck!

You should feel special, apparently she likes you for the person you are, not the money or cars you have, the other men she may have been with just for material things, she must like you for the person you are, be thankful for that and just treat her right, I'd much rather be with someone who treats me good and like a lady than someone with all the money in the world

well- learn to accept yourself before you expect others to accept you as you are. You're probably the nicest and sexiest out of al of the guys she's been with and enjoy your company more because you're both young and enjoy similar stuff. Be positive- it's not like you nver graduated from high school or something- you got your career going but not quiete there- doens't mean you're not doing anything for yourself! you'll be fine! jsut finish your school and you'll feel more confident

hey,She loves you for who you and not for anything else, if you cant accept that fact, and you are afraid that she might leave you because of what you have right now, then you should just break off the relationship or you two will just end up fighting a lot because of your insecurity

If your girlfriend would leave you for someone who has more "toys" or who can give her more "toys" you really don't want her anyway.
Take a step back...and realize if she's with you it's because she wants to be and start enjoying your relationship.

Umm, she could be lying about all of these men being interested in her, it's weird but sometimes girls like when there men are insecure and you are definetly playing in to it.
