Sure, what time is dinner?
Typicaly meat is o.k. so long as it is left in the fridge when defrosted and the fridge temp is below 45 deg. ferinhite. It is usualy safe to refridgerate fresh and defrosted meat for up to one week.

Warning!!! Do Not completely defrost meat and refreeze it without cooking.
Cooked meat can be refrozen just make sure it is wraped or in an airtight container or Zip Loc bag.

It is fine....must be very very careful with poultry. As long as the steak has not sat out a room temp for any period of time....best way to go about defrosting something like meat is just put in the fridge frozen....takes a couple of days but also saves money on energy (keeps fridge a little cooler)

If you defrosted it in the fridge, you will have no problems. If you defrosted it out on the counter or some such thing where it reached room temp, there's a higher chance that bacteria grew, depending on how long you left it out. But even so, I really don't think you have much to worry about after less than 4 days in the fridge.

If you defrosted it in the refrigerator is will probably be fine. Giving it a sniff will go a long way toward letting you know. If you thawed it on the counter, then I wouldn't eat it, because room temperature allows a great environment for bacteria to grow. So even if you put it in the fridge after thawing it can make you sick. Good luck.

it's fine as long as it hasn't turned from pink to solid brown. beef has a long shelf life at refrigerator temps - in fact, filet mignons are aged for several weeks at cellar temperatures to soften the meat. chicken and pork on the other hand go bad quickly.

Coloring is the 1st thing to look for, nice and pink. If it looks brown or dark on the edges TOSS IT - then when you open it up the smell should be enough...
