We gave our girl a supplement in her water. After she had taken it in her water for a few days it worked!

Her pee stopped burning our lawn.

G-Whiz is an all natural edible liquid that works from the inside out. You add it to your dog's water bowl.

There are lots of home remedies. Though we did find that the tomato one does work to an extent. When our lab raids the garden we have fewer yellow spots.

Make sure she has enough water to drink at all times. Also lawn experts will tell you to rinse the area with water to dilute the salts in the urine. Also try and get her to use other areas of the yard if you can. We also trained the dogs to use one small area and placed wood chips in that area instead of grass. Gypsum pellets and lime will also help to lower the ph in that area of the yard.

There are no miracles and we learned a long time ago that as long as the yard was green-weeds, grass or what not, it was more important to have a happy dog then a pretty yard.

you can try the enzymes to feed your dog as well as lime on your lawn in the spring to neutalize the burn (do not let your dog on that part of the lawn untill the lime has been absorbed howver) or if there is another place you want her to go then you can get a bottle of straight ammonia and pour some where you want her to go.. the smell should get her in the habit of going in that spot as it smells like urine to her.. again let the ammonia absorb before letting the dog in the area though

Well where would you rather the dog peed?

I don't get why people get upset about their yards when they have dogs. Yeah, I hate that there are a few dead spots in my yard. I hate that there are a few muddy spots in the back, but that's part of owning a dog. At least they're not digging holes and peeing in the house!

Just fertilize and water. It's all you can really do.

I suggest walking her on leash to a specific place to do her business and train her that there is only one spot to use as a potty. Make sure you clean it regularly by picking up the feces. Urine should not be a problem. You can make a dirt area, or fill it with rocks to keep it outlined as her potty place.

Try mixing tomato juice in with her food. Not too much, less than a shot-glass worth. Tomato juice is a base that can counteract (or at least lessen) the acid of the urine (or the other way around, I don't remember).

Put 2 Tablespoons of regular tomato juice on it's dog food every day. The acid in the juice neutralizes the urine acidity.

the 1st step is to coach your canines the place you desire them to "pass". you may could positioned them on a leash and take them to the section the place you desire them to "pass". in case you are attempting this continuously, they gets the belief. My 3 canines head out to the facet backyard each and every time they're permit loose of the homestead!! the 2nd step is to sprinkle Cayenne Pepper (the spice) on areas that they presently use. The pepper will mildly irritate their noses and that they gained't use that spot back!! you may could repeat after a rain. Sprinkle everywhere you spot brown spots. stable success!!
