Are you a citizen of Canada?
If you are an American you may encounter difficulties because you are American.
It once was easy to hunt there but they have gone brain dead for the most part.
If you want to hunt in that climate you can go to Alaska and encounter a much friendlier reception.
What I am saying is--it may not be worth your time and effort to hunt in Canada.
You can hunt in the American Rockies easier than you can jump through thier stupid hoops.

I believe in order to for a U.S. citizen to hunt in Canada you MUST go thru an approved outfitter, but you can check that by contacting the ministry of natural resources (I believe thats the right one)

I hunted Caribou in Canada, and I am a US citizen, the outfitter I hunted with just gave me a tag, he had tags he could just fill them out with your name.

well, if you already have a liscence, go to the ministry of natural resourses. if you're in ontario, check out the O.F.A.H. ontario federation of anglers and hunters.
