Where do I take her?

I am 22 and I am taking an 18 year old girl out for the first time. I have been on lots of dates before but I always seem to over do it and look to flash or under do it and look cheap. So wot do girls want to do on a first date. I have to impress this one I realy like her.

Go to a small restaurant or diner, go for a walk and give yourself time to either go to a club, a movie or an early exit if things don't "click"-
remember - that this is a feeling out mode- getting to know each other in a different setting-

Try to talk to her and find out what interests her. Some never fail suggestions though:

A carriage ride. Most larger cities have them.

A single flower or a small assortment, don't overdo it. Not necessarily a rose though. I have found that many women like orchids and lilies more and they don't suggest love. A single red rose can be appropriate for a first date, but if I were to go with roses on the first date they would be white.

A dinner in a park or at the beach. This goes over especially well if you are a good cook. It also gives you much more opportunity to talk than a crowded restaurant.

A comedy club. The opposite of the above. If you are worried about too much conversation, then a comedy club is a great place. Be sure to sit near the front and tell the comedian you are on a first date. That really can be a blast.

Dinner and a movie is really cliche but it works for some women. If you want to be original then plan an all day kind of date. Show up at her place around 9 am and bring coffee and muffins or something easily carried. Go to a local park or something and have a planned activity. A walk around the park or if they have tennis courts or something do that. Make sure she knows in advance what activity so she can dress accordingly. Call a local restaurant and have them make you a picnic style lunch and go to a really nice spot and eat. Take in a matinee at a theater. Let her pick the movie. By the end it is dinner time. Take her home and let her freshen up and you go back to your place and get really dressed-slacks and a nice shirt-leave the jeans in the closet. Take her to a really nice restaurant but when you go to pick her up take her some flowers. Call your local chamber of commerce or visitors bureau and find out what really cool things are going on in the area. It could be a play, a special event, a concert but pick something really cool. It would impress her and you would not be spending your entire life savings.

My advice is to take her to dinner and bowling. Don't forget to HAVE FUN. Everyone gets so obsessed with impressing the other person that they forget about enjoying the evening.

Go slowly and build up the dates. Right now you don't want to set the bar so high that in 3 dates you'll feel obligated to buy her a seven course meal at a formal dining restaurant.

first date cant go rong, dont push the barrier shes got her side and u got urs and if she gets unconfertable she can beat u with the stick shift,

ok thats where you are going wrong. Too flash is too much and then you are setting the scene for what she will expect time and time again.
take her somewhere like a tapas restaurant as there are loads of small dishes to try and the food is great and the place is always got a buzz about it.
then out to a wine bar for a drink afterwards that should do the trick

Depends on where you're going. If you're going to a nice fancy restaurant, then look cool, but nice by wearing jeans with a button down shirt (ironed) and a jacket (blazer). You can wear a nice CLEAN pair of name brand sneakers with this or a pair of oxford type shoes like Eastlands. Yes, wear a belt.

If you're just going to a movie and say, Ruby Tuesdays or Chili's type of restaurant, then omit the blazer and just wear everything else. Females love cologne, but don't overdo it. Make sure not to pick up your date empty handed. Greet her with flowers to thank her for accepting a date with you.

first date me and my bf got in the car drove around and went to a place we had never been to .........the car ride let ur break the ice a little and then the new restaurant experience gave us something in common instantly..... after we went for a dessert someplace else a little more relaxed than a restaurant setting...like Starbucks .... then we walked around downtown for a while and he took me home......for the next couple of dates we did the same tried new places and as we got to know each other better we made a list of places we wanted to try on date his choice the other mine..............how this gets a little price for a while but if shes worth it go for it cuz once u establish a relationship mickey D's and taco bell start being the convenient places to go to stay in and watch movies ;) and restauranst start being a special date place for celebrating important stuff and making her happy after a fight............dont work she be spending money too having to dress to impress for ur dates
