Matt have some confidence in yourself and just ask her if she would give you the pleasure of a date. If your instincts are telling you that you think she may be interested in you they are probably correct. As for "doing her" if that is your main objective for asking her out then she will know this and it may very well ruin your friendship if that's all your after. But if you take your time and allow things to progress at a natural rate then it may actually help your friendship even if nothing develops between the two of you. Good luck and be a gentleman and treat her nice and you will be rewarded in the long run. Good luck.

Just do it. Either she want to go out with you or she doesn't. You just have to take that chance or you are never going to know what could have happened. If something like that ruins your friendship it wasn't that strong to begin with. You could always ask her to the movies or dinner just as friends first. With it just being the two of you, you may be able to see signs that she really likes you.

If you are friends, you should be able to take her out on a "friendly date" (movies, something casual) and not ruin your friendship. You can talk to her when you are out together - tell her you are interested in maybe more than friendship and see what she says.

Best of both worlds? Could be a good thing!

Good luck!

The best way is to always be direct and just ask her in person. If you are too scared, then think about what you are going to say first, tell yourself that you are going to ask her the next time you see her, and that doesn't work, imagine that you are the most confident person in the world (forget who you are, in other words).

tell her you like her and ask if she wants to go see a film with you or something like that, and if she says no just say you don't want to lose her as a friend coz you value her friendship, and you dont want anything to change because of this. hopefully shell understand and be normal around you.
i had a friend who i spoke to a lot on instant messaging and a few months after we became better friends he told me he liked me and asked me out. i already knew coz he hinted loads before but i didnt want to go out with him coz we were very young, so i turned him down but said we would still be friends. i acted totally normal around him but after a while we stopped talking so much. so my point is, if she says no, work hard to stay friends coz even if you dont want it to, it can affect the friendship a lot.

Just be honest!! If she's a mate, just tell her that you have been feeling differently towards her but don't want to spoil your friendship... If she feels the same way then she'll want to take things further and what better way to start a new relationship!!

First of all take her to a dinner and a movie, then buy her flowers and give them to her at her work place girls love this by the way, the other girls get gealious, then go from there.

Well, you & I have the same problem. I've never done it. A good thing to try is to get your feelings out in a note & leave it for them. Then all you need to do is ask if they got your note & for the answer. That shouldn't be to hard.

Hope it works out. =)

if you are that nervous you could write her a letter, don't text! but to be honest with you there is no easy way around this. you mention that you are friends, then you are half way there because she already likes you and knows you. just buy her coffee somewhere and while you are having coffee, tell her that you want to go out with her. you could start by telling her how you feel and why you want to go out with her. what you find attractive.
good luck and my heart goes out to you to.

Ask her how she feels about taking your relationship to the next level - with what ever answer she gives just go from there. Good Luck!~
