i received one speeding ticket in IL and two speeding tickets in Michigan in the past 5 months. does that mean my license will get suspended?

It all depends on the rules regarding tickets that your state has adopted. Some states use a point system that adds up different points for different traffic violations.

So your best bet would be to ask a question regarding the particular state you had your license issued from and how that state's system works on that.

Here in Ontario, the number of points you lose as a result of a speeding charge vary according to how much you were exceeding the speed limit. For example you lose no points here for 1-15 km/hr over the limit. So you could get many of these and your licence would not be suspended (insurance company may have an issue with you though). I think it mus vary state to state.

Depends on the point system of your state... but, I sure would start to drive at the posted speed limit. It's better to get to your destination alive and late, than it is to not arrive because you're dead on the road.
