I have had this problem before too! Thankfully I can share some ideas with you, because I tried them and they worked awesome! When a cookie recipe calls for Oatmeal, measure out the correct cups of Oatmeal, using your cinnamon instant oats. It tastes just like what the recipe calls for, yet better. Ive used packages of oatmeal, on the top of apple crumble recipes. For the No Bake cookies that call for oats. And for homemade granola cereal. Flavored oat meals are best for this, such as Banana, or strawberry. Sprinkle some in your favorite Yogurt in the mornings. Or when making healthy shakes, grind in a few flavored instant oats. Its fun to play around with, use your imagination, and come up with the tastiest treats, that leave your friends dumbfounded at the scrumptious taste!

Blueberries

Strawberries

Yogurt (think parfait, but reverse the oatmeal and yogurt content...so good and refreshing.),

Sliced/canned peaches in light syrup (just add a little bit of the syrup)

half a teaspoon of icing sugar adds a lot of taste too

I always add a few TB of dried cherries and a TB of chopped toasted pecans. I use the weight control oatmeal and while it's filling and hearty serving it really needs some help flavor wise.

I also usually add a tsp of splenda.

other ideas:

Add a tsp of peanut butter and half a mashed banana
any dried fruits and cinnamon
2 tsp mini chocolate chips
applesauce and cinnamon
cook a chopped apple in the microwave add it to your oatmeal.

Honey is a good option to put on top of oatmeal. Another good option is chopping up some dried apricots and sultanas before cooking, and also adding a little cinnamon, it is delicious.

I have instant oatmeal at work every morning. My toppings vary practically each day so I won't be bored. Try raisins, dried cranberries, dates, nuts, you can even top it with a little jam or jelly--I could go on and on.....

Cinnamon is what I add on top of my oatmeal...it makes it soooo good. Or this sounds odd but a little bit of whipped cream or 2 fresh rasberries. Umm....lets see...You could probably add some chocolate powder for a dessert type thing.....

Hope I Helped!

Fruit( fresh or dried) , nuts, jellies( strawberry, blueberry, peach), granola, yougurt, milk, you can even make it with fruit juice instead of plain old water. Vanilla soy Milk.. ummm I dont know what else.. but you could also make your own apples n cinnamon from regular oatmeal... or banana nut... just add your own ingredents. Blueberries and vanilla soy for blueberries n cream.. etc....

Dried fruit and bran meal. Good for you and tasty. Its better if you make your own oatmeal and cook the fruit in it. I also like to put some really good jam in my cereal sometimes. Weird I know but good
