A lot of it depends on how old people are. I would suggest for teenagers and young twenties that it does matter, as if they are to date someone over 10 years age difference they have nothing in common. Same if a female maybe 15 wants to go out with a 19-25 year old sorry I just disagree with this as maturity level is so varied and kids this age should be dating people their own age and it's obvious that older in this relationship has many hidden agenda's. But when you hit your 40-60's I would say that age doesn't matter as much, other than younger person may become widowed earlier than they wanted.

Depends on the age of the people involved. If one is 15 and the other is 34 then yes age matters, but you reach a point when age really is just a number

it depends on how old you are and how old the girl is,for example if you are 18 and the girl is 14 then you could find yourself in trouble. if you are 18 and the girl is 16 then age shouldn't matter that match. if you and the girl are in the upper ages such as 20 and up then age doesn't matter at all

Age shouldn't matter, but it really does. I am 24, and the thought of dating someone that is old enough to by my father (approx. 44) is a little sickening. I def. think that anything more than 20+ years is not appropriate.

After the age of 25 we are all pretty much as "matured" as we will get. So if both people are over that age, the age difference is negated. Anyone younger doesn't have enough "experience" and are only being taken advantage of.

Depends on the difference. Never go under 18 that could be a felony waiting to happen. If the age difference makes you see everything differently it will probably not work but other than that it is just a number

You have different interests when you are 20 than when you are 40 so I would have to say a very large age difference would matter. I have seen these relationships work sometimes though.

no and yes if the younger person is mature enought to handle the older persons baggage yes trust me the older ppl get the more baggage u have......i recomend dating outside of your age range just because its an experience .... its not for everyone but if you can put up with eachothers **** and learn from eachothers mistakes and create a good clean healthy relationship it could be the best thing to ever happen to you

I dont think so - there are connections with men & woman on so many different levels. Im 27 and have connected with 22 year olds and then 38 year olds - its all about your level of maturity and THEIR level of maturity - if your on the same maturity level, then Age doesnt matter.
