I think that those are color standards. The idea is to make sure that the printer is printing the colors correctly before making the whole label. That's not exact, but it's close enough.

I'm pretty sure that it just has to do with the colors they use for printing. Each colored circle that you see is the individual colors they layer over the top of others to create the finished picture you see on the front of your yogurt cup. I have also seen these on cereal boxes and other colored items.
