there is faith
then there is stupidity
then there is the possibility: I might be in the middle of a "Psychotic Break" and all may seem well and I might see myself as somekind of abraham and my faith is being tested and in reality i am insane and feel like i must jump from this bridge to prove my faith. insanity springing forth from the usual misunderstanding of religion, spriituality and faith. this can be a most dangerous area if a person has just gone through a traumatic time in thier life, such as a death in the family, divorce or even a loss of a job. the psyche will put forth the effort to justify what has been occuring, oftentimes with the martyr complex and other times there will be thoughts of abraham and a testing of faith.
danger. danger. danger.
i am blessed and living under the grace of Jesus Christ and I know my Master would not allow such a test
thank you for the opportunity to be serious and God Bless.

Depends, I guess. Firstly I don't believe in God, so he'd have to convince me it wasn't a trick and I wasn't just hearing things. Secondly I'd want to make sure he wasn't just joking. But if I honestly believed it was God's instruction and that he'd send me to hell or something if I didn't do it, then sure I'd jump off a bridge. But I can't really imagine anything he could do to prove that he wasn't just a hallucination. It's the sort of thing I'd want to be sure about.

If I was in Heaven and he told me to jump off the bridge and land on a cloud sure, but NO not here because it wouldnt be him telling you to do that. He died for your sins and your going to throw your life away, thats not my God playa.

Yes. Without a question. If that is "God's will", I shall please God by doing so. Jesus sacrificed his life, because it is "God's will" and He pleased God by sacrificing his life.
Still God gave us 10 commandments which are nice and good for all human beings. Still we don't follow "Thou Shalt Not Kill", by sending cows and bulls to "Super Tech Slaughter houses".
So, the suffering we caused to others, will be noted by God in His Personal Hand NoteBook and then such sufferings will be imposed on us, at the right moment!!!
Justice needs to be done. If we try to understand the will of God and try to follow his Words that would help any one more than doubting His existence and avoiding to follow the good 10 commandments!!!

God or Allah or whoever. If he said jump, these people who already believe in these fantasies (billions of them) would have to jump! Then we would find out that out of the billions, only a million or so would actually do it, since most can barely follow the simple things they are suppose to do based on these comic books.

I do not believe G-d works this way. So, if I heard such a voice, I'd decide I need a good long rest.

Unfortunately, many of those who would say yes... would also skin their neighbors alive... "if God told them to".
Check the violent offenders out at your local mental institution if you need further proof.
