sometimes they are? I was at a hospital yesterday and they noticed it and they said nothing. I was at the hospital for other reasons though.

Sounds like a circulatory problem. Two possibilities that I can think of off the top of my head are diabetes and Raynaud's Disease. You need to see your doctor about this.

Are you taking any medicine? I noticed the pain medication I was given (tramadol) when I had the flu, said that if my nail beds turned blue that you should see a doctor.

your one of those people who are just always cold. i know people like that. wear layers of clothing to stay warm and also your blood is not circulating so, get moving.

you need to talk to a doctor because just might have a blood clog or blockage somewhere contact any doctor if you don't have one already.
