stats that i have seen illustrate that at this point, the figure is more like 82% of americans who are opposed to the war in iraq.

cons will spout their constantly weakening talking points about people who 'want us to lose' without ever once citing a specific example.

the truth is that the only ones who really want us to lose, are the ones who got us into an unwinnable war in the first place.

at this point, if you don't work for a military contractor or the govt, odds are you are opposed to the war.

soon the news media will pick up on this and we will have vietnam all over again - protests and all...

Because the 62% don't have a vested interest in Iraq. If it were "THEIR" money they wouldn't be against it.

Crybaby dems always worried about a few people being killed. It's a tough world we live in. They need to have a reality check.

Millions die every year from hunger and disease. Have you joined the Red Cross or Green Peace? NO.... I think not. You just talk. We are not going to pull out of Iraq while I am President. Not until we get our money back with interest. end of story.

Who are the 62%? Every one I talk to has never been asked that question. 98% of the people I asked are in favor of the war.

Those against our actions in Iraq have been duped by the media into thinking we should not have gone in the first place or that we are somehow losing. Of coarse it has been a quagmire ever since our tanks rolled through Bagdad. Yada, yada yada.

it's not so much being against the war as it is the people who show hatered toward our soldiers.. personally I don't think we should be in Iraq, but I'm very grateful to all the troops for all they do! I'm sure most of them don't want to be there either.. it's one thing to be against the war, but you should always be respectful toward our soldiers! it was despicable the way the soldiers were treated after the Vietnam war was over.. it makes me sick!

Did you ask each and every American or did you just make up this number from your tiny little pea brain?

Maybe so many people are angry because someone forgot to ask them.

I'm not angry. I just believe we as Americans should stand behind the people we vote into office--it is ultimately our choice.

Theres a difference between being against the war and wanting the United States to loose. I support my country in whatever actions it takes unlike most democrats who bad mouth thier own country to make a political point. They all should be ashamed.
