BIBLE AND FAMILY
Older family members did, but not many family members after them.
My grandparents could not read or write. I have no idea how they knew so much of the bible. My grandmother was a very special person and taught me very well to respect the word of God.
My dad could read, he believed the bible to be the inspired word of God and was with my grandmother all the way to pass it on to all the children.
As long as my dad could see, he read the word of God every day, so do I.
The family that is left does not care for the bible.
Some younger one believe in various religions.
If I believed that Adam and the nine sons down to Noah the tenth in genealogy of Jesus, did not live to be 930 or 962 or 969 or Noah 600 Gen.7:6; before the flood and 350 years after the flood Gen.9:28,29; WHY BE IN A RELIGION?
502 years for Shem after the flood Gen.11:10,11; This long when life sustaining earth is gone.
Now life really does drop.
Shem is age 150 when Abraham is born, Abraham has 175 years to live. Gen.25:7,9; to die 527 years after the flood THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THERE WAS A FLOOD.
Yet people of our modern day has a bad experience with flood from a few days rain?
What a wonderful way to get the time correct, the time they do not believe in, just add all time below the flood. People sure do have a taboo about bible time.
I have loved the bible it seems, all my life, but from age 27, it has been a constant companion.

I have a couple of copy's of the bible but only the NT gets used.
I have read a hard back copy of the course in miracles till it fell apart. Now I'm working on wearing out my second copy.
Its a lot like the bible would be if you could get all of the nonsense out of it.
love and blessings Don

I am not concerned whether other members of my family read the bible of not. My study of God is my own personal choice.

Every member of your household has a Rocking Chair and every member of mine has a BIBLE. We take care of our BIBLES and yet we use them weekly if not daily. Have a great day!
