i went to one last night for the first time and i didnt relly know the customs. Am i supposed to tip every dancer that comes around? because they seem to all expect it and give me a dirty look when i refuse a dance. Do i tip when i get a dance?

You need to tip only when you get a private (lap) dance. The only other time you should tip is when you're sitting directly in front of one of the stages. Then you should occasionally slip the dancer a dollar or two (five or 10 if you want a LOT of attention).
If you tip every dancer who asks to give you a private dance, you'll have a lot of happy strippers, but you'll be out of cash tout suite.
And try not to take the dirty looks too personally. Strip clubs are not about sex: THEY'RE ABOUT MONEY. Enjoy the titilliation but realize that the girls are there for your cash and nothing else.

Yes you tip when you get a dance. You tip if you like the dancer performing, and you tip when you get a lap dance.
You can turn down a lap dance if you want to, but you may get a dirty look becuase its like telling the dancer she is not attractive enough to dance for you. Its kinda like getting turned down from a date, but for a dancer its a slap in the face. Its like saying you are not dancing well enough or dont look good enough to deserve a tip.

You need to develop a technique for eying them so that they know you want them to dance for you. Then tip.
Conversely kind of not look at those you don't want to get a dance from. That way they aren't forcing a dance on you for which you're expected to tip. Once you look at them, however, even if you didn't invite them to dance, you should leave a tip.

Sit at the stage, tip every one that dances for you.
Sit at a table, and they should ask you if you want a table dance, those are extra $.
Sit at the bar, watch the show, walk up and tip the ones that you think are good dancers, walk back and take your seat.
Then when you get a cab home, reflect on the fact that you do not have to dance half naked or naked to feed yourself.

If a dancer dances in front of you is polite to tip with dollars they dance for there tips and you are watching, if you get a private dance then yes you are suppose to also tip. Usually the tips for private dances are higher then tips you would give for dancers dancing directly in front of you but in front of everyone.

There just trying to intimidate you. If you dont tip, they wont dance. Only tip the ones you like. If you tip all of the ones that come around they will continue to manipulate you. dont feel anyway about it, just dont tip alll of them. bc what there are doing is-go to the back and tell there friends, that white guy right over there is tipping everything that walks by...go get em girls!

theyre all just after your Money. i know alot of strippers cause i used to live with 2 of theM. its alright to not tip unless you accept a dance or unless your right there at the edge of the stage taking up space that another guy could be at throwing cash to her. but if you exept the dance you should tip. exept the one or ones you like and dont even bother with the rest and if they look at you dirty(in a bad way) who cares they are just angry that they cant get your cash. alot of strippers get like 400$ + a night anyway

If you are sitting at the stage, you should be tipping often when they are on stage. If you aren't, and you don't want a lap/table dance, you don't have to tip. They are just mad that you don't want them to dance for you. If you do accept their offer, you must pay everytime.

Keep a supply of one dollar bills for tips. It is expected to tip if they dance for you, but it is also OK to turn down a dnace. They will look grumpy, though.
