Normally poison ivy is a very hard and bitter thing.
But perhaps you have a funny experience though?!

I rubbed it on myself and told my brother I wasn't allergic to it...I never had any reactions from it. However, my brother decided to try it and he broke out really bad. We were 8 and 11 years old. Since I'm older I got in trouble. But it was kind of funny because he is so gullible!

Ive heard this story 100 times from my husband, but its so funny! My husband and his family grew up in the woods of south louisiana....actually, like the swamp, lol! Wen him and his cousin were young they went back into the woods to play. They found some vines hanging from the trees and started playing tarzan, swinging from the vines. Then they took turns wrapping eachother in the vines and trying to rope eachother like cowboys. Needless to say, they were completely COVERED from head to toe in poison ivy! They had to be quarenteened in a room together for almost 2 weeks, and i think also had to go to the emergency room because they had so much swelling.

I was 10, got mad at my parents for grounding me after I went over to a friends house for 4 1/2 hours and didn't tell them where I was going. I snuck out to a field by our house-I was mad after all. I sat down near some bushes, was tired and I guess I fell asleep. Hour later I woke up with this weird rash all over my face, arms and legs. When I got home my parents were pissed to say the least, but figured I learned my lesson and took me to the doctor's office.

I had a good laugh when the girl that tormented me all through high school had poison ivy all over, I mean everywhere!

As a young boy I got poison ivy on my weezer ! The nurse at the childrens home had to put lotion on it !

in my early teens i got in trouble and for punishment my parents made me paint this rail fence way at the back of our property. so i went out, paint and brush in hand. when i got to the fence i plopped down and sulkily went along on my butt painting this fence. hours later, as i was scratching my butt ferociously i spread it ALL OVER that area. at the time it was horrid, but now looking back it's pretty funny and we get a good laugh out of it.
