Yes indeed.
Many versions of the same story-- but nothing contradicting!

Just using different words to tell the same story is GOOD!

I checked out your link. That's just another person trying to justify Islam. Islam is the worse religion in the face of the planet. All it brings is destruction. Nothing good has ever come from Islam. The world would have been better off if it never existed.

About the versions of the Bible. All versions basically say the same thing. There is nothing contradictory. No matter what version or what language is used it is still inspiring. The Qu'ran on the other hand is only good in Arabic and if you translate it then it sounds like junk. This is proof that Islam is a false religion.

There are *some* "true" things in the bible -- we know this because of the few things that we're able to confirm as correct in the bible by comparing them to other sources (such as Egyptian or Roman records).
Using that same method, however, it's simple to confirm that the bible is dead wrong about a number of things. These are things are are contradicted by external sources (in most cases several sources), which clearly show the bible accounts to be inaccurate.
Then there is the class of "stories" in the bible that refer to creation, the "great flood," etc. -- all of which have been proven incorrect through science.
An objective evaluation of the accuracy of the bible gives it about 15% correct, 45% incorrect, and 40% unknowable (in the unknowable cases, either the bible is the only source for the story of an event, or there are conflicting versions of an event among the various other sources).

It doesn't matter which "version" of the bible you use, those numbers stay the same.

Not a very good track record :( Using the same techniques to confirm accuracy, Dan Brown's novel "The DaVinci Code" (which we all KNOW is fiction, but based on some history), that book comes out at 25% correct, 35% incorrect, and (again) 40% unverifiable. Acknowledged fiction is more accurate than the bible...hmm... :)

The Bible Is God’s Word

The Bible claims to be inspired. Peter said, “Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (II Peter 1:21.) The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) so guided the writers of the Bible that they could not make mistakes. “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth” (I Corinthians 2:13.) Because of this there are no real contradictions in the Bible. Those things which appear to be contradictions disappear under close investigation.

That the Bible is true may be shown by several of its characteristics. It is scientifically accurate, even though it is not a book of science. It is historically accurate. Every attempt to prove it historically wrong has failed. It is prophetically correct as is seen in many prophecies which have been fulfilled beyond question. It is impartial, presenting both good and bad of all men, not trying to gloss over the sins of any man who might be “a man after God’s own heart.” It presents the world’s highest standard of morality. Finally, it has never been destroyed in spite of dozens of attempts to exterminate it.

I think the web site tells me to not wear mini skirts. That I should wear a hajib.

The Holy Spirit confirms in my reborn spirit of the truth in the Holy Bible. I know in my knower that the Holy Bible is true, and the different versions basically reveal the same message a little differently for different ways people understand what they read.
