Hi Rachel, i have been a preschool teacher for 20 yrs. Left public school;because i felt there were to many teachers(De-greed) like myself that just really don't care. Instead of the conversation in the teachers lounge being about how to help certain individual children; it was more on criticizing them and laughing. Don't misunderstand me, there are some excellent teachers in the field, but rare. Now to answer your question you have 2 ways...you can find a college, or trade school(Vocational School)
enroll in Child Development or the CDA Program. The program usually takes 2yrs. You will have credentials of a CDA ; which in the coming years are mandatory to work with children ages preschool-after schoolers. Your CDA Cred. is equivalent to an AS Degree.
In the state of Florida and others states 4C helps para-professional (beginning teachers) with the same exact classes that is needed for your credentials; the program for each cert. may vary it's a total of 12 comp. in each area that is needed. Your class can be 2days to 2 weeks depending on the subject.; but you can usually grad. with a CDA within 6-7 months after all 12 areas are completed and you have passed a test after each.
You also will need First Aide and CPR which is given at any local Red Cross for a small fee.
I wish you the best of luck and pray you are successful in this field. I have enjoyed it for 20 yrs. and wouldn't change for anything. The field is hard but rewarding, especially when you see scribble turn to A's, B's and soon a sentence. (Big Smile)

If you live in the UK you will need to study Early years care and education at a local college. You can do this to NVQ level 2, 3 or go onto do a foundation degree (level 4 and 5). With level 2 you can get a job as an assistant and with level 3 you can be a leader. Most of these couses are part time and you need to have a placement in a Pre School for your workplace assessments, so you will need to try to get a job while you study or volunteer maybe one day a week - some colleges help with this. You will also have to be police checked. Check out your local college - good luck!

To become a pre school teacher, you need at least 12 units of ECE or Early Childhood Education. There are several ways you can study: Junior college, Online College or TV Courses.
I will advice you to call a local Pre School in your area both public and private. Talk to a Supervisor or a pre school teacher that works there. They will be delighted to answer your questions.

the lots have continuously been led via the few. that's not something new. questioning is hard artwork. It takes relatively relatively some prepare and desires the willingness to task one's very own questioning. those are uncommon features - now and in the previous. Socialism, Communism, Nazism and appropriate innovations are ordinary innovations to sell to the unthinking plenty. That replaced into the historic previous of the 20 th century (and 1000's of 1000's died and billions suffered as a result). at the instant, Islamic fanaticism is premier a large physique of unthinking lots down the comparable highway. heritage actual does repeat itself. regrettably, 'sort new' public education seems to be contributing to the development you sense is advantages. necessary questioning is almost fullyyt absent in public academic education (even on the college degree) and the programming of youngster's minds to think approximately that 'how they sense' is the only central foundation mandatory to justify their strikes/ideals is turning out to be too commonplace. Few seem to appreciate that "this is how I evaluate" is merely not a justification for taking a function even nonetheless an acknowledgment of finished failure to assume for sure earlier than taking that place. intense-high quality needs.
