Dear Contrasverses, That is correct, satan is a fallen angel who disobeyed and rebelled against God and was cast from heaven.
"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." Jude 1:6

Another verse in Jobe speaks of satan also being cast down from heaven, and in revelations in reveals that satan and his like will be completely destroyed, as will all those who have transgressed Gods Law (ten Commandments) the BIble says it is an abomination on the eyes of God to even lie, and the BIble says "all liars will have thier part in the lake of fire". have you ever stolen? the BIble also says there will be no thieves in the Kingdom of God, nor fornicators or adulterers or those who fornicate with thier eyes (look with lust). This is very serious, because Hell is a Place of eternal torment, you are never completely destroyed, but simply left to suffer for ever. But the good news for Humans is that God has sent his son to redeem us, Jesus suffered and died on the cross and took the punsihment for the law you broke. satan and His angels will never be saved From hell, But if you will repent (turn from sin) and trust in jesus, God will forgive you and grant you the gift of everlasting life.
God Bless

Satan is a fallen angel, but he is not doing anything that God assigned him to do. He used to be good, but he went bad a long time ago. He became proud and decided that he would be above God, so he got kicked out of heaven. Hell was originally reserved for him and all the angels that followed him (1/3rd of God's angels were lost to him). But Satan is angry and he wants to get back at God by making people sin and turn away from God so that they go to Hell too. Satan knows that God loves people, so is plan for revenge is to make God have to send as many people to Hell as possible.

Yes satan is a fallen angel. He was the most beautiful angel. Probably the music leader in the heavens.

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming…How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer…thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. (Isaiah 14:9-16 KJV)

Well in Islam as it is mentioned in Holly Quran that the Satan and his name was Iblis, was one of Jinns and ALLAH asked the Angles as well as Satan to bow to ADAM but he refused.

Surah 18. The Cave

50. Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!

Why are you obsessed with satan? Forget the afterlife and get on with living the life you've been given. Look for opportunities to make this world a better place for all humanity. The afterlife will take care of itself.
