How do I get a song to play throughout the whole slideshow in Microsoft Powerpoint?

I went to Insert, clicked add sound from file, chose my song, the little speaker icon appeared, and I right clicked and clicked loop until stopped. But when I start the slideshow, the song will start only after I click on the speaker icon, and then play until I click to bring up the title, then stop. How do I make the song play straight through without any interruptions? Thank you for your answer.

On very first slide, Select Slide Show, Slide Transition.

A dialog box should pop up on the right side of your screen. Select Sound: scroll way down and select "other sound". Browse to music and select desired file.

Select Loop until other sound box and you should be all set.
