Since God created man in the beginning of time, and Man was not around during the Dinosaur time period?

How do those who follow the teachings of the Bible and Jesus Christ explain the dinosaurs?

They don't want to admit that it's ridiculous to think that the world is ONLY 10,000 years old as opposed to the possible 714 trillion years that the universe may have been around for.

Dinosaurs existed millions of years ago. How can one not have learned that in school?

I'm not a Christian, so I do not follow their beliefs.

However, we must take into consideration that according to the Bible, Man was created on the 6th day. We do not know how long a day is to the Creator. Time is a human thing, Dieties have no use for it. So we can not say that the first 5 days were 120 hours consisting of 60 minutes each.

Well, the Bible does state many times about "the beasts of the earth" and talks about the enormous sizes, and "dragon-like" species, etc...
In Gen 1:20, it states God had the waters bring forth the moving creature that hath life and fowl that may fly above the earth. And in Gen 1:21 it says that God created EVERY living creature that moveth.
This would include the creatures which we have found bones/remnants from, in which we deem "dinosaurs".
Man came up with the term "dinosaur" for the fossils that were found that showed there were creatures of enormous size that we no longer had here on earth.

We dont truly know a WHOLE lot about dinosaurs- we werent there. There are experts to prove they existed millions of years ago and we evolved from cavemen, and there are experts who can disprove that theory as well. So- who are we to truly believe?

All experts will come up with the best they can from what they find. But we all know even experts make mistakes, and we can only go off what they tell us. So, ultimately, it is up to us to decide for ourselves. Because even scientists are finding loopholes and mistakes in their own theories, such as planets not really being planets, new species of fish that they never knew, mistakes labeling ages in rock which they thought was millions of years ago but really came from the infamous1980 Mt. St. Helen's volcanic eruption, and so on. So, there are really no absolutes despite how many degrees people have. That is something we have to keep in mind when questioning the past.

Most Christians will swear by the Word of God being the only absolute. There can even be a problem there, as, there are variances in interpetations of the Bible by those who love God. So, I can so see why there is much confusion. Everyone has a different story, view, opinion, fact, etc...

But, if we are to try and link the Bible with dinosaurs, that Scripture says it all. If we believe in the Word of God as it is written, we must read and believe in it as it JUST AS it is written, fully...
And when the Word of God says "all" it means all.

Many species may have died out- the ones which were huge. But, one thing to ponder on...there are plenty of enormous creatures living in the sea to this day- dinosaur size. Man has conquered all the land, but, has not conquered all the sea. This perhaps is why there are still large creatures still living in there. The Blue whale is the largest creature in the ocean (that we know of). There are equally large fish that are not whales as well. We deem them large creatures, but, arent they really donosaurs?

Well lets say that Adam was around during the Dinosaurs time we wouldn't know how long because he started to Age after he was kick out of Paridise. Adam could have been there for million of year being Innocent and not know right from wrong. And then God made Eve. You know that story,any way .
Adam had the Perfect body no disease wow no hurt and pains wow. Our body is build to not age. but it does. and we get sick from cancer,disease,virus.etc etc. So the first man live a long time if you think about it the earth is a very big place for him and I believe the garden was beautiful but made small after his sin.

You can't mix creation and evolution. Creation teaches your first premise, that God created man in the beginning, Evolution teaches man was not around during the dinsaur period. Which are you?. Pick a camp and it will work out. If you accept the Bible both exitsed together.

First mistake; Dinosaurs were around during man's time. The term dinosaur was coined in the 1800's. The book of Job mentions them as Behemoth, and Leviathon (also mentioned in Proverbs or Psalms). (Along with unicorns).

God created a miniature "ant" or minature "flies, mosquitos", WHICH CAN FLY. And God also created gigantic bodies like elephants, whales, etc.

If there is a "Creation" we can expect a "Creator" --> Is this not science??

In our experience we have seen many creations of man like laptop, desktop, watches, and we should expect a creator behind that.

But when it comes to "Nature" we believe there is no "Creator" for this Huge Machine, which works perfectly, without a problem. And we blindly believe "Nature created itself".

Again few questions:- If there is food, we know to whom it belongs. Ex: Cow eats only grass, and not flesh. And Lion eats flesh and not grass. So, how is particular type of food, already preset or grown for living entities?? Unless the God is "person" (Supreme Person) how can he provide food for all living beings (basically "personalities") with different kinds of Body.

What is Body? It is just like a machine. Just like a driver drives a car. But the car is not moving independently. Because there is driver the car moves. Similarly our body moves because there is "Spirit" (living force) which moves the body. Because of the "Spirit" we feel the body is alive. Actually the body is never "Alive", it is the "spirit" which makes the body "Alive". Just like the car moves because there is driver inside the body.

If we look at material creation there is so much, big big globes are flying in sky, by the will of God...Why should we worry of a a dinasor, which is one of the animals in earthly planet??

As per Vedic knowledge ( India ), there are many other planets inhabited by different kinds of living beings. Some are much greater than earth and some are inferior.

We cannot deny these statements of Vedas!!!, nor can we disprove them, because man is incapable of going around whole universe, and searching every nook and corner!!!

One more fact from Vedas:

So, if we look thru the vision of "scientistic" ideas, we will be misled, and the present world is already full of problems, by not accepting the "Supreme Authority" of God.

I asked some mormon missionaries this same question and they told me that when the bible says that man was created on the 6th day it wasn't actually 6 DAYS because they just used a measurement of time that people who couldn't underrstand a millions yearrs could understand. so each day could be a day a week a month athousand years a million years, it was just a way to seperate things- I guess. I told the mormons they were easily led dorks and offered them a cup of coffee and some premarital booty and they left like someone had lit a fire under their butt!

Can you read anything pre-1840 that mentions "dinosaurs"?

How about Job, and in his time there were behemoth, leviathan, and tanniyn? Certainly not an elephant or an hippopotamus when "his tail sways like a cedar". Perhaps one of the large dinosaurs?

In The Beginning

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

The one thing that needs to be said about this subject is, we know for sure what God had done from the beginning. He created, it was not anything man did, and there was no other outside force that helped. There was no big bang, no unexplainable theories. Everything God did He knows about, and can if He so chooses to reveal his knowledge to his people.

We as the people of God do not debate such things because the Bible forbids us to. Therefore it can be said, that this topic has no bearing on the salvation that God gave to us through Jesus Christ.

People say experience is the best teacher. Generally we look to those who are older, because they are wiser. One reason is because we can say we look at things at 20/20 hindsight.

Based on the written word and the life God has given for us to compare, as Jesus did.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. That was it, by evidence we know that he created creatures in the earth, at that time. Dinosaurs and all the creatures that are of that nature. Including what men call caveman, because that they were not “a living soul” they were not called man. They were called beasts OR creatures. Remember there is evidence of these things. AS Christians we do not believe they evolved, we understand that they were created by God from the beginning.



Science says they were probably 5 or 10 million years old, that’s fine, since if you haven’t noticed what God had not created in Genesis 1:1 was time. Many Christians would believe that the earth may be only 10,000 years old If, the verse saying “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”(2 Peter 3:8)
This verse was never intended to say that a day with the Lord is a thousand years. This verse was to mean that, time does not mean the same thing to God as to man because time was not created for him. Time was created for man. Since God had not yet created time in Genesis 1:1 it could have very well been a million or a billion, either way you know that time did not exist.

In Genesis 1 when God created the heavens and earth he also created the angels. Some were Cherubim, some Seraphim. There are Hosts, choirs and angels whose sole purpose is to fly around forever crying holy, holy, holy. Lucifer was one of them. A cherub angel who was the most beautiful angel. His construction even included pipes for creating music, its no wonder music is so influential to our young people.

Let me remind you that God does not create confusion. That is evident, because in the book of Isaiah 11:6. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

With God there is no fear, confusion, hatred or evil.
So before Lucifer fell there had to be peace and tranquility on earth. When he fell into the earth, he brought with him evil, confusion, and that dog eat dog mentality.

He saw Gods creation and always purposed to steal Gods glory.
No doubt he probably tried to get them to worship him, but Isaiah 42:8 says “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”

God was not going to allow the devil to take over his creation in the earth. SO He has to destroy them. In comes the ice age, that is evident. How it came about I don’t know, but if you remove the light, you also remove the source of heat. We know that the light was removed because of the next verse. Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Now you begin to see Gods plan unfold and in it, you see the new element which we know now as time.
Genesis 1:3-5 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
UP until you get to the seventh day, God created.

Again when Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel you see this lapse of time, which explains how it is Cain when he was banished all of a sudden has a wife. Adam and Eve continued to have kids after Cain and Abel. Genesis 5: 4. And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
Evidently much time had passed for Adam and Eves kids to grow up. Cain’s wife was probably a sister or cousin as we know it.

In those days the law was not yet written and the only way to repopulate the earth was sister and brother to come together. Still mother and son OR Father and daughter did not get together. Later in the law it became a sin to even uncover their nakedness. Today the law is in effect concerning incest, and it is no longer allowable.

There may be many things that seem unexplainable, but if God so chooses he will reveal them to his people.

In the end the Bible says that God will be all and in all. The way it was from the beginning.
