I don't think there's one that stays with you your whole life but there can be several at different points. I have felt connections to several at different points including the Lynx, the Frog (and for those of you sniggering in the back Frogs are fantastic animals and we should all be so lucky. Ribbit!)
One I feel strong to right now would be the Rabbit. I'm not aggressive which is why a prey animal feels strong but I don't feel defenseless either and I also feel communal

I was talking about this with my Girlfriends dog just the other day! I said, "Goya Bean, I feel a strong spiritual connection with angry blind moles!" Goya's eyes grew wide and She replied, " Why I just adore rolling in dead moles! Isn't that a crazy coincident! Please do tell me why you feel that sort of strong spiritual connection, John?" To this I said, " They burn easily in the sunlight, don't see worth a darn; and they are always digging and exploring for the truth in their enviroment; much like myself." Then we both just laughed and laughed until Goya started chewing Her own butt and I had to leave the room in disgust! Dogs, what can You do?

of direction you may. i like nature and each little thing that it involves. I even have pushed to console a pal at 4am. I even %. slugs and caterpillars up off of our front porch so as that they are no longer getting stepped on. Being a reliable person has no longer something to do with faith. My mom in no way took me to church as a baby because of the fact as she placed it, it quite is the place diverse "pretend" human beings carry out. She taught me maximum appropriate from incorrect and that i nonetheless carry those reliable morals right this moment. besides that, i've got seen such diverse hateful and sorry religious those that i understand for a actuality that being religious have not got something to do with being religious as backwards because it sounds.

My answer is no, but it's interesting to see the animals that people do feel a connection to...it's usually the same group of animals.
I never hear people say they feel a connection to the platypus or a gopher. Why is that?

I've felt that connection with almost all of the animals we have shared our home with.
Elephants, African, have always been very special for me.

Cats. I've had cats all my life. I can't imagine my life without the presence of a cat. It would be so very empty. They're beautiful, sweet, loving creatures, and they really are sacred to me. I would never purposely do anything to harm a cat, and have rescued more than one abandoned cat in my lifetime.

All of them.
All of them see themselves as perfect just the way God created them. No judgment, no guilt, no yesterday, no tomorrow, just now.
Sounds like heaven to me.
