I think it depends a lot on how the relationship ended, what caused the relationship to end, and how deep the feelings were before the break up. My first relationship never really got off the ground and was more of just dating to see if things would develop. In this instance it was more of a relief than missing her. However, I have been in relationships since then that have ended just because of an incompatibility that ended up just being too much to allow a relationship to continue. Things ended on good terms, it just happened that we weren't completely compatible (how most of my relationships have ended). In longer relationships or ones were I felt more connected I certainly have missed my ex and still do miss more than one of them, but that does not necessarily mean that I want to get back into a relationship with any of them. It is just like any of your other relationships that aren't romantic, you can still enjoy the person and miss them when they are gone, but that doesn't mean that you should be in a relationship with them.
Short answer: Yes, I often miss my ex and have friends that miss theirs too, but that doesn't necessarily mean that a relationship should resume. It can mean that he still loves her, but one must examine the reason(s) that the relationship ended in the first place and decide if they still exist.
By the way, I often confuse myself with the very question you posed, but I must remember that "passion clouds reason."

If he misses his ex than he made the wrong decision that became the ex.

i guy can miss his sex alot it doesnt mean that he still loves her
its just maybe he misss things about her that you cant show to him or that are stuck in the back of his mind. the best thing to do is talk to hima nd ask him what he liked doing with her dnt go to far just enough so you get an idea

It took me a very long time to get over my ex. I was still very much in love with her when we broke up, but time just made it fade away & I found someone new.

No. it dosnt mean he still loves her. Its just prolbly he misses the things that they used to do. its normal....u try to do what they did if it will make u feel better.
