All depends on what you drink and how much of it you drink...

Your question is oversimplified.

Genrally speaking, there is a large volume of research showing that alcohol in low to moderate quanitites, (1-2 drinks a day), has a variety of health benefits, particularly lowering cholesterol. If you go beyond that, then the benefits backfire as you endanger your liver, heart, and possibly increase the chances of some cancers.

Right, the question poses a broad spectrum of thought. Is it good to drink? Drink what? Obviously you have posted it in the wine and spirits. It depends on your age, your purpose etc. If you go out and are socializing with friends, and you are of age that is, then it is ok, to have a couple. The secret here, with everything in life, is MODERATION! Is it good to over-indulge, NO! So whatever a person does in their lives, ask yourself if it is good for you. Hope this helps.

Moderate drinking (2 glasses of red wine a day or 5 beers a week) has been proven scientifically to be beneficial to your health. It is said that this helps along with proper diet and exercise to keep your arteries clear. So I guess it is good to drink in moderation.

1 drink per day for women and 2 drinks per day for men is healthy. It doesn't matter if it is wine or beer or spirits. Your liver regenerates and fixes itself, just like your skin, but only if you drink in moderation. If you are a heavy drinker, your liver will not be able to keep up.

its not good to drink at all, it messes up your liver and makes your skin look old and dry. There really isn't anything good that comes from drinking. I am not tryin to say its not fun, cause i am always going out and drinking on the wknds, but i know its not good and i know that is going to be harmful in the future so i say to stay away while your still young

It depends how old you are!? If you are in your teens then heavy drinking is not only illegal but also very unhealthy.

It damages your liver, heart, skin etc etc! And you might end up doing something really silly if you have too much in one setting!

Drink responsibly, do not drink binge!

Oh I have totally lied!!!! I feel guilty now!!! I have contradicted myself (First year of uni??!)

Like alcohol? Health wise, they say that having a glass of wine a day is actually healthy for you but heavy drinking can kill you. It is one of those moderation kind of things.

Depends on what your drinking, Water is good for you to drink, Milk is good for you to drink, but Alcohol is not but drinking only on special occasions will not hurt you but drinking often could have several effects such as.....you becoming an alcoholic...you destroying your kidneys....see so it is up to you...Hope this helps

Not if you are speaking of beer, or vodka and some of that other stuff. (alcohol) It raises your blood pressure.puts your blood sugar out of wack. harms your liver, makes your heart beat faster, makes your brain go wacko, let alone the feeling you have the next day. I wish they would ban it.

Obviously you're not old enough to drink. So wait until you're older and then make up your mind
