First off, make 100% sure you have entered the vin correctly, if it still comes up the wrong car you might want to contact the dealer you bought the car from, for whatever reason someone has falsified the vin on your car (taking a vin from another car and passing it off as yours, which is against the law.) if you feel you are getting the run around from the dealer about it, do not hesitate to contact your lawyer and ask questions.
when the dealer sold you the car he binded himself that everything was on the up and up with that car. when he transfered the title from whoever he bought it from into his name he would have known that the VIN wasnt the right one.

It's probably a paperwork SNAFU from Chrysler. The two vehicles share quite alot of parts as well as the frame and the VIN plate was probably mis-assigned in the distribution process. I would contact the dealer because you don't want any issues when you sell the car and in the unlikely but possible event a police officer ever runs the VIN you might have trouble proving you aren't running a chop shop. Only half serious on the last, it could really create question you would have trouble proving. Best of luck.

Head for your closest dealer to get an accurate answer. Both vehicles are made at the same plant.

"The sedans are built at the DaimlerChrysler Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Sterling Heights (Michigan) as part of a $985 million program. "

If you get the run around, take the issue to your local TV investigative reporter and to your state attorney general.

Make sure you type the Vin in correct. Ask your dealer or who ever you bought the car from.

As bad as it seems, you probably have a chopped car. Double check the VIN and try again.
