God is love, but love is not God. The way the phrase "God is love" is written in the Bible (originally)...is written in such a way that one cannot reverse the two without murdering the Greek language (which is the language the NT was originally written in).
So, while living a life that's filled with love is noble...no one should assume that based on that alone that they're in right standing before God. It's only through faith alone in Christ alone that one able to achieve such a status.

Its is not living a life in God but with God. Yes, once you see love in everything and feel the love of everyone, you are living life with God, of God.
Where science stops, we have come across so many miracles, where LOVE has helped heal people.
Love Overall is Very Eternal. And eternal is space, space is time, time is omnipresent, omnipresent is GOD.

God is all things. God is evil too. But to strictly live a life of evil is not living a "godly life". God is a jealous God too. and to just be jealous is not godly. God is a vengeful God....
Love is the greatest and we should love all. But to say we should not spank our children (which is evil - you are hitting the kid! but it goes to the greater good - a sore bottom verses a burnt and defromed hand from a hot stove). So love should be the base - but not the limit to our personality.

God is love, but love is NOT God. John wrote a specific syntactical phrase for the very purpose of you not being able to switch the two around (in the Greek). God has many attributes that coincide with His love. He is Holy, perfect in all His ways. He is just, sinless. In order to live a life of "love" you must understand God's meaning of what is according to His definition of what love is, and that is not the wishy-washy subjective, feelings driven definition that man applies to it. To live a life of love Biblically you would love God above all, be satisfied with Christ above all, and enjoy loving Him above all, for his Glory above all, love His word above all, this is living a loving life.

Matthew chapter 22
They asked Jesus what was the greatest commandment.
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Jesus Christ, however, is the sole source of salvation.
John 6:63 (NLT)
It is the Spirit who gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

If you wish to be a bit poetical, you're right.
God is the personification of love.
"Love is God" is a vague term better rendered:
God is a God of love.
Living a life showing love is living a Godly life.

Becareful, this could be a trick question. On the surface "for me" the answer is yes. However, some Christians may also say yes, "IF" you 1st accept "Jesus Christ" as your personal savior.
This gets rid of all the other religious god systems so one would not be confused with the Christian God of the Bible.

Yes, but you have to know God in order to live in love. You cannot separate the two. The Bible says so. If you claim to live in love, but not to know or believe in God, that is a lie and if you claim to know God, but not to live in love, that is also a lie.

A life of God's love is living in God. Human love is nothing more than lust---it is selfishness, therefore it is sin. God's love is selfless, and is therefore righteous. If you want to live in God's love then think of everyone but yourself in whatever you do.

Yes, for the most part. You also have to believe in God's teachings and that Jesus is your savior, but God is love and He says the most important thing is to love one another.
