I didn't look at this. I figure it is the one I seen before and it actually made me want to cry. I am a strong person, body and mind, but I have a very weak heart when it comes to animals.I agree with you110% It is the human race that causes these problems.

Bad owners and bad breeders are the reason this breed has such a bad rap. You have these unethical people, breeding for the purpose of fighting. They are intentionally breeding for bad temperments and aggression in these dogs for use in the ring. A good breeder WILL NOT breed any dog that shows signs of aggression in any way to avoid the possibility that it might be passed on to the litter.
I would not at all be surprised to find out that these Pit Bull attacks are from dogs that have questionable origins. I can't even tell you the number of people I know who have a PB and can't tell you anything about it's pedigree. The possiblity that their beloved new pet came from a fighting line (breeder got rid of it because it "wasn't up to par" for fighting) is certainly there and can set the new pet up to be predisposed for aggression.
I personally have nothing against PB, it's the people that own them and breed the fighting lines that are responsible for the problems with banning.
If I were interested in getting a PB, I wouldn't work with anything less than a reputable breeder. I would have to know all about where the dog came from. As with many other breeds of dogs, back yard breeding is a large contribution to issues arising with this breed.

yeah i cried, and yes i have seen dogs in that condition before (i foster abused animals). But for all the awareness of animal cruelty going on there are still not enough people willing to repair the damage others have done or prevent it in the first place. Sad but true. Some people will probably see that clip and be horrified and appalled, but never do anything themselves to fix it.

Pitt Bulls left to their own devices are fighting creatures. They will turn on their owner, children and the neighbors in a heartbeat. Dogs are unreasoning animals...
Animals are not the Disney/Happy Feet creatures that some people try to make us think they are. They will and can hunt/kill for food. They fight each other and can kill each other.
That breed happens to be stronger than most and can maim children so they will never be able to look in the mirror again. Those that keep strong dogs need have a great responsibility to maintain them from harming others.. most humans are not that responsible when it comes to their pets and let them roam with no regard to others.

okay!! l went to the web site you pointed out. so it was some really sad picture of the pit bulls. BUT they really didn't say the real cause of their condition. Yes maybe a person did those bad things, but and they were mistreated. there are nice healthy, and kindly treated dogs that have killed. so l do not under stand why you wanted us to see that website. Because l seen pictures of other breed of dogs in the same condition.l seen horses and cats mistreated. but that still does not tell me that these dogs are not aggressive.maybe you will see one of those children in that film attack and kill by one of those so pretty pictures. after all the dog that killed that little girl was around her many times. that only prove my point that the are aggressive dogs.sure other dogs bite but they are not likely to kill as quick as a aggressive dog.l had a neighbors chihuahua bit my ankle but it did not kill me.those pictures were mostly cause by the dogs mad to fight each other, they keep them hungry because the dog knows if it wins it will get a real meal. and the people like that should be shot too.

i could not watch that sight. it upsets me to think that there are people that will torture an animal for their own enjoyment. i have encountered several vicious pits. one even attacked my dog, but the owners were at fault. they would keep the dog chained up, and as soon as i would walk by with my dog they would let theirs off the chain. those people are the monsters and now the dogs are paying for their owners choices. it is very sad.

Humans are the monsters, of course. I don't need a video to tell me that. We're the ones that kill many dogs each year, sometimes just because they bite or can't be taken care of properly. And besides, who made the Pitbull breed, then suddenly decided that they were mean and started hating them? Us.

Im not looking because ive seen the cr*p first hand. Its not just pits that this is done too.
We had a poodle named crispy because someone had poured gasoline on him and set him on fire. His skin was actually crispy while he healed. These abused dogs are usually even more grateful for being rescued. Especially pits.
I have had to euthanize so called AKC dogs due to aggressive issues but never a pit!!! Labs, Danes Hybrids, hounds. A friend gets eaten by her own dogs once a month. I can't believe she allows it to go on I would not allow a dog in my house that attacks me but she loves her dogs. Hers is a tree walker (PURE) go figure a vicious b*tch. Not a lick of pit in her
Another friend of mine has allowed herself her husband and her daughter to be viciously attacked by her mutts. If my dogs send me to the hospital they are gone.
Now I would like everyone to find out how many dog attacks happen by dogs that are un altered!!! Most are unaltered males that attack in any breed.
Sorry to vent it just pisses me off. We have never put pits to sleep because of behavior.
