You can go to any US post office to renew your passport. Also go their website http://www.usps.com/ they will have all the information and forms that you need to renew your passport.

There should be a post office near you that will accept your passport application. You can also renew by mail, and that is cheaper. Here's the US State Dept site on renewing your passport: http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/renew/renew_833.html If you want to go to a post office, download the application and fill it out first.

You can apply for passports at most US Post Offices. But if you already have a passport (current or expired) you can renew it by mail.
