1 - take a picture if you can , you can use it for reference later.

2 - Do one side at a time , you can look at the complete side to see where things go ( remember its a mirror image )

3 - keep the left side parts on the left side of the truck and same for the right. I've see people swear that this spring went on this side. This is mostly true for drum brakes , disk brakes are a little easier .

4 - where ever you get your parts , you will be able to find a chiltons/haynes manual for $10

If you haven't a clue then don't. Even if you get the best instruction from some of the fine folks on this site you might make a mistake and it's too dangerous to get brakes wrong. Do you have a friend who has done brakes before? If so enlist their help and if you need advice at that point come back for an assist. Perhaps I read too much into your question but the vagueness of leads me to believe that you are starting from scratch and need the full details. If I'm wrong I appologise and if you will add in what you accually need help with myself or someone else will respond. Take care.

Replacing brake pads aren't that hard (to me anyway) but you need to buy a repair manual (I recommend a shop manual) because it really cannot be explained here.

gotta get the repair manual! You'll be so glad you did! Even if you never have problems with you're vehicle, there is detailed info in there about routine maintenance with pictures!

It is actually quite easy and very difficult to do wrong, if you put them back together wrong they won't fit back on the car. But, you can't really explain it to someone without having them actually show you, and it is slightly different for every car.
