I've had a few recent comments about me not being attractive anymore. They try to tell me that I'm 'Over muscular' which triggers people not to want to get to me know me as much. Back in high school I loved to go to 'weight lifting competitions'. And I knew it was good for me. Now I'm not sure what do think.

well as long as your wife thinks you're attractive and wants you then don't listen to other people. If you think you are going over board with the weights then maybe cut down a bit. I f you are the muscular type that has veins popping out everywhere that is disgusting and very unattractive and I think that is going to far. But you little pic doesn't look bad from what I can see.

It's not what others are saying; but how you feel about yourself. We should never let other people be a barometer in our own self worth. I suspect that the fact that you even post this question is a sign of insecurity. Are you really going to count the favorable and unfavorable replies to this post and decide how you should feel after that? If someone in your life is telling you you're not attractive anymore, or over muscular, that right there should give you pause in regards to that/those person/people motive is. What is their goal by telling you this? Who are they to you to let their opinion make you question yourself? And, are you so shallow that you only judge yourself by your outer shell and how people perceive you? I should hope not. Be who you are and surround yourself with the people who like you for your personality.

Luke, why are you so concerned about what others think of you? Have you ever stopped to think it's their jealousy talking? Are you happy with you? Is the person in your life happy with you? The only person that has a right to judge you is GOD. I'm sure he's not making negative comments to you. When someone approaches you with the negative opinions and attitudes, smile and thank them for their words. Don't get upset that's what they want and expect. Shock them. Thank them and then give them a compliment. They won't know what to say or think, it's called killing them with kindness.

I know it's important that you think others' find you attractive. It is to all of us. But in reality that is very shallow way to look at someone. If they cannot accept you for who/what you are, then they are not your friends anyway. And don't listen to other negative ppl on here. Just live your life to the best you can and don't worry about being attractive.

I can't get a good look from here, but you seem fit, muscular...you're married man, why should you care about what others think?? You've already found a "mate", so looking good to others should no longer matter.

You don't seem to be " over muscular" to me . Some people like it and some don't. You need to do what makes you feel good for you and no one else. Be yourself and you will find the right person for you.

You look fine to me honey! Perhaps they are jealous of you and are trying you knock your confidence. If people do not want to get to know you then why bother they could be shallow people. If you are a nice guy and treat people with respect then they perhaps they have the problem and not you!

Well it's hard to tell by the mini pic but what I see looks good to me. Lots of women go for the muscular type, continue doing it if you enjoy it.
