I have a change of flight at Paris. Gulf air is allowing me 30kg will this cause any problem with my connecting flight of Air France. Flying from Bahrain to Paris in Gulf Air and from Paris to St Maarten in Air France

It depends on the relationship between Gulf Air and Air France. On principle, if you did not pay at Bahrain, then this is the end of it as you don't have to pay anymore. However, when there's a connection between two airlines, the second airline may ask for share of excess baggage charges that the first airline is supposed to have collected from the passenger. Usually however, the two airlines may have some sort of handling agreement by which they accept each other's baggage without asking for charges if no charges are paid by the passenger.

it depends on how much luggage Air France is going to allow you to carry.if 30kgs is not a problem then you can go ahead.why dont you just ask your travel agent or whoever booked your tickets and verify.i never had a prob whenever i travelled from Bahrain.one flight i had to change flights in London and my luggage was there when i landed.
