All dogs shed, but my Shi-tzu shed's significantly less than any dog I've had or came in contact with previously. In my opinion they make great dogs, and travel excelent!! (Mine is the best little traveler=p). She is a bit small for her breed at about 10lbs. I think their average weight is 13-15lbs, so they are still pretty small. I keep her hair short because she is active and it takes Tons of upkeep to keep it long. Shi-tzu's don't require as much daily exercise as many more hyper tempered dogs. I think that would be a very good breed for travel in a Motor Home.

The best dog I would say to get is a Yorkie there small, very smart, do not shed, and love to travel. Not only that they are considered good apartment dogs since they don't need a large space to keep them entertained they would be perfect in a motor home. I own a 2.5 pound Yorkie she goes with me everywhere even to work she is the best and she is not a barker. ;)

When I was young my parents would only let us get a dog that wouldn't shed, and didn't smell...yeah, like that was easy to find, but we found one. Lhasa Apso. They are great dogs and small, kinda like a Pekingese, but they don't have the smashed in face. Look into it. the only draw back is the long hair has to be brushed often or it will mat. We used to shave ours in the summer, just to his head, he looked like a little lion. The hair around the eyes is supposed to be kept long, something to do with their vision. We had him for a very long time and he loved to travel!

Yeah...you're genuine. Poodles do no longer shed. the final dogs I surely have ever prevalent for no longer laying off and not smelling "like a dogs" is a Schnoodle (a Schnauzer/Poodle mixture). My aunt and uncle had a Schnoodle named Cricket for 15 years. My aunt is extremely gentle to smells and is an extreme sparkling freak. I advise even the slightest scent and he or she is having a in good shape spraying air freshener and burning incense and candles. And the 1st sign of a dogs hair and he or she could have been vacuuming the full domicile from ultimate to backside. She bathed Cricket approximately as quickly as a month yet specifically in basic terms with the aid of fact he could get into something grimy, no longer with the aid of fact of scent. i can not remember ever seeing even one piece of loose dogs hair on something of their domicile. He grew to become into an surprising sized dogs too. He grew to become into great sufficient which you weren't terrified of him being too dainty or fragile to love and yet sufficiently small to be a lap dogs and to savour as a house dogs. i think of you may surely savour this "mutt breed".

The dogs that shed the least are the ones you have to shave. Poodles, schnauzers etc

Schnauzers, poodles, fox terriers.
I have 3 mini schnauzers, and not a hair have they ever lost. No dander either and we live in a 37ft 5th wheel. Fantastic travelers and love being with their human. Smart and cute as heck.

Poodles and poodle mixes don't shed; neither does the bichon. All need regular brushing and grooming though.

We always had miniature dauschaunds (weiner dogs). Long hair or short hair either one don't hardly shed. Plus they are very loving and loyal dogs, and they love to travel!
