If you're willing to pay, then go for Norton Antivirus or McAfee, very well known anti virus softwares. Other option is to download AVG[free]. I've never tried AVG, but heard good review from friends.
WORDS OF WISDOM BY ME: never download free antivirus programs from the net,(besides AVG) they give bigtime viruses
good luck

I've had some bad experiences with AVG in the past so avoid it; but what do I know?
PC Tools Antivirus is free and uses a Kaspersky engine

I've been using AVG for a few years and am quite happy, though I've heard good things about Avast.

I do not trust any free antivirus software. Buy Norton Internet Security and live safely.

E-Trust Antivirus is quite popular.
A free, German-based antivirus application is available from: http://www.free-av.com
Another possibility is Avast!: http://www.avast.com
