I was a Christian but when I red the scientific facts in the Holy Quran my eyes opened and my heart said there is no doubt that the Holy Quran is the word of God. (Not a Single Contradiction – Find One?.....you will never find it if you have the proper knowledge in the Quran).
Some examples of the scientific facts:
1) “The world rotates about its own axis”, this is mentioned in the Quran 14 hundred years ago. We have just come to now recently with our top class modern equipment and technology that this is true, but what technology existed 14 hundred years ago………exactly None.
2) “The earth is not flat but is shaped like the egg of an ostreg, which is geo-spherical”. Scientist have recently come to now that this is true (someone sailed around the world to prove it).
Who could have known this 14 hundred years ago?.........No body, expect God, which we call ALLAH.

Alhamdullallah brother for your conversion. It is a shame that some people can comment on the Quran without reading the whole thing, rather bits and pieces. The Quran is there for anyone to read unchanged from its first existence, with no contradictions and many scientific fact to prove it, example ( the worlds mountains as pegs on the earth, they have roots). This bit of information was not found out but recently, and could anyone 1400 years ago know that? but brother you read the Quran, and you know that some people no matter how much evidence they receive will not believe. God is the only one who guides.

Yes the sun rotates on its own axis. But since its not a solid body, different parts of it rotate at different speeds. The poles rotate slower than the equator. At the poles, the suns takes about 34 days to make one full rotation. Down at the equator, its takes the sun about 25 days to make one full rotation.

Both those were discovered by the Greeks about 2500 years ago.
The first by watching the motion of the stars and the second by measurements of shadows at specific times.
Christians burnt Greek texts a it contradicted the Old Testament but this never happened in the Middle East.

Perhaps some ppl dont need scientific fact to understand or have ideas. I didnt need a phd in physics and construction to know that the towers should not have fallen. Right from day one I said so. How many times in history have ppl made correct assumptions on the universe we live in. These are just ideas. Im not stating a fact that your wrong about religion. I just think your wrong. If thats not ok, well..... sod it. not much i can do.

Yes the sun does rotate about its own axis.
Every scientific fact in the Quran is correct,
And whatever any one says can not change that
lets see you even try to change it.
When you die the truth will get you, and lets see if your laughing then.

I used to wonder why everybody kept saying you Moslems are dumb and uneducated, to the majority; but now, I know!!!
Somehow, I find that these "converts" to Islam also get language challenged as the others and degenerate, generally, in their ability to be logical.

Why, there was one young lady who said that the 1:4 ratio of of one man:4 wives was "scientific" because there are numerically more women than men!?
