I have been dating my girlfriend for nearly 6 1/2 years now. We have had our ups and downs in our years of courtship. We even promised ourselves that we would marry each other when we were settled. However, the point of worry is that we hardly spent quality time with each other although you would expect us to do that. Most of the time we would be surrounded with friends and family. The outcome is that we realise now that we hardly know each other. I find my girlfriend in tears very often when we meet. At the same time she swears that she is so attached to me that she cannot imagine marrying anyone else. I do not know whether we have grown so attached to each other that we are unable to open our eyes to the realities of the world. I have been faithful to my girl all these years; our problem is that if we do decide to break up; we would lose the comfort of each others shoulders in our pain. this may helps

Happiness is only attainable through useful efforts. The best way

to help us is to help others. Most people measure their happiness

in terms of physical pleasure and material possession. But happiness

does not depend on worldly pleasures. It comes from the heart within.

We must be happy despite deprivation, if our happiness is so deep

and thoughtful it can become a philosophy of life. Although the world

is full of suffering, it is also full of solutions to over come suffering.

Optimism helps because it leads to achievement. Optimism does not

rest on the absence of evil, but on a glad belief in the prepondence of

good and willing effort always to co-operate with the good in all of us,

so that goodness prevails. But life doesn't give you and opportunity to

show to the world that side of you. If you are going to write something

for the world, you might as well show your happier side. It is nice to be

remembered as a happy person. There is so much life to enjoy and it

helps to remind that, there is a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end of it.

u dating for 6.5 years and your wondering y u see her in tears??
she must be devestated and crushed that until now u can't make up ur mind!!
It's not fair for both of u..
Isn't those years enough for u to realize that this is the girl for u??
my honest advise go get a ring as soon as possible and propose a decent proposal worthy of those 6.5 years and start ur life and make a family.. don't waste and single minute and never take a girl for granted.. we hate that !!

good luck and may u have the happiest ending :)
