It may be something as simple as not drinking enough water!!!!!!! Up your water consumption and see if that makes a difference. Also, do you keep the heat up in your living quarters? Turn the heat down! Lack of humidity tries out your skin. Also try a shampoo made with "tea tree oil". This can be found at a local health food store.
The increase in water will really help, though.

Nizoral.
I use it twice a week. It's great stuff. Works WAY BETTER than Head and Shoulders. I personally found Neutrogena to be a complete waste of money.
NOTHING works the first time around but after one week, you'll really notice a difference with Nizoral. It's just a normal shampoo. Make sure you lather down to the scalp and let it sit for at least a minute or two. Rinse thoroughly.
Good luck!

I also have dandruff (I don't believe it's dandruff, but just really dry skin). But, I have tried Sulfur 8 and Head & Shoulders and it hasn't worked. I also drink plenty of water, so I know that's not it. Next I was going to start doing hot oil treatments. But, I will try the Nizoral and/or Dermarest. Thanks

While the shampoo is still in your head your have to comb through it till you reach the scalp to scrape off the dead skin cells. Do that after every shampoo and that should do it.

Nizoral works for me and my dad (yes, I inherited it. "thanks dad") So, Nizoral. It does not smell bad, and it's at WalMart or Target or Walgreens or Dollar General, etc.
