He was checking you out. But it doesn't mean he wants you, like everybody else says. It's a very natural thing to do. Men don't actually consciously spend time checking out women instead of other things, not always anyway. Not generally. It's just what we do. He might not even have known that he did it; however, you were in front of him, and you are apparently female (or male if he's gay or otherwise an animated human life form which is more interesting to look at than paperwork, which is probably what he's usually looking at), so he looked at you. He looked you up and down, whatever. Trust me. It's not creepy. It's not aggressive. It's not some sign that he wants to be your boyfriend, your boy toy or your boy anything. He just happens to be a guy, and this is a common thing that guys do without thinking. The only time you should seriously concern yourself is if he does it all the time, most specifically when he is checking out you instead of other people in a group- again, frequently.

Well some would say it means the same, but in my opinion, slimy would mean " like a snake". You know how a snake looks slimy even though they are really rather very smooth and feel nice, well this doesn't however pretain to a man being slimy.

Slimy would be he's sneaky, low life, loser, unkept, not to be trusted.

Define Slimy

While the moniker 'slimy' can certainly be used to describe someone who is creepy, it can also describe someone who sweats more then normal and therefore has a 'slimy' or 'greasy' appearance.

Well I'm going to fly in the face of everyone else here. When anyone walks in the room, regardless of gender or age (0 months to 100) I look at them up and down. I can assure you I don't have sex on mind nor am I seeing if they're attractive, because I'm not interested in that at all. I suss people out because I'm nosy and also, on the basis of is this person safe to be around (with adults particularly) - do they look gobby, drunk, criminal, etc, does that shirt really go with those trousers, oh my god how can she wear that, etc. Yes, I'm sat there making snap judgements on everyone who comes anywhere near me which don't involve sex. So don't make automatic judgements about what's going on between people's ears, you may be way wrong.

yes, well, more or less - I would use slimy as quite a graphic description of a creep - it really does show them in a horrible light!! But creepy sounds more pervy than slimy, a bit more sinister - though calling someone slimy def means they make you sick and think they're wonderful!!!

What Does Slimy Mean

2016-12-13 10:18:18 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Yeah kind of. Sometimes it can be used to describe a pervy man! Other times it means overly smooth man who is quick to flatter you, but usually can't be trusted because he's usually flattering other women at the same time.

Steer well clear!

It can or there can be a slight difference. A creepy person may look or act in a way that we find disturbing. A slimy person acts underhanded and disingenuous.

Yeap! Slimy is usually related to a snake...a creepy, belly crawling low life and usually = beware!
