A man is NEVER a failure. He may think so and other people may think so as well, but he, as a living, breathing being, is not a failure. There are only 'low' times in ones life, but never failures. Whether an attempt at something might have been hindered by some obstacle or whether it came to an unforseen closure, the plain, and simple "attempt" at it, is more to say than not having tried at all. You wouild forever be wondering what would have happened...anixiety and disappointment would get to you, thus leading to the feeling of "faiure". It's only a feeling, NOT a state of being. Don't ever be brought down by the word "failure", because after all, it's only a word, and what is a word but a grouping of letters....that's all that failure is...a group of words in black ink. A man can only be a failure....when he no longer performs any type of action...in death, and even then, his memory lives on.

Maybe this could help: "What you will do matters, all you need is to do it", "One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done", "I've arrived at this outermost edge of my life by my own actions. Where I am is thouroughly unacceptable. Therefore I must stop doing what I've been doing".

Failure is nonexistent, just as nonexistence is being a failure.

A man is a failure when he can leave his wife and kids for another women. That's a failure. And he's not even a man after that.

When he ceases to pursue success.

There is an in-between which is neither failure nor success; mediocrity.
And, I believe, only he can determine any one of the three.

Many fail, fail, and fail again until they succeed; at which time they become,
successful failures.
