I see a lot of younger women with older guys and I always wonder what they see in them. I am curious about the motivation. Is it looking for stability, a father figure or just burned by younger wild guys?

Sometimes it is all of the above(stability,father figure,and/or burned by younger wild guys!!!!!) But for me personaly,it was because I felt less threatened,and felt that I could be myself.The older man could also be more mature.It's not just your body they are after,and if it is they don't make you feel that's all you are to them.It is really important for a woman to be able to have a good friend to talk to.Not just have an animal say"you had your meal let's go to bed" If the woman's guard is up-the time with her is not fun for either of you.I actually ask to go Dutch sometimes,or offer to pay his way sometimes.You need friendship first.Good Luck! I'm 5'7 135 lbs.But have been shuned sometimes for being too fat!! Men should get real,and look at their selves.So many of both sexes have alot to offer.But don't have the chance.

My husband is almost 12 years older than me. I was in long term relationships with a couple guys that were my age and it never worked out. The maturity level just isn't the same, plus I was looking for stability and someone to start a family with.

They tend to be overprotective of you. Sometimes they think that you are immature just because of the age difference even though you might have proven them otherwise. They always want to be there for you giving you advice and sharing their life experiences. They are also very experienced sexually and your world might clash in that area as they might ask you to do things that might make you feel uneasy. This subject can always be discussed and you could always find some compromise. Older men tend to be more stable financially and emotionally having a clearer understanding of what they want in life. Remember that women mature earlier than men. When it comes to find somebody at our level the ideal move might be to go for an older man.

A little of everything. I think that there are older men who knows how a woman really wants to be treated. It wasn't worth it for me. It was nice but he was a little too possesive not to mention he had like three other women who were older than me.
But young men treat women the way they do on tv. We really do not have a lot of good young men anymore. they are either in relationships married or gay.

Older men usually know what they want out of life and relationships. They are not into games like alot of the younger men are. They are usually more settled and are ready for a relationship rather than the fear of one like the younger guys. They are also more experianced and know how to treat a woman.

the reason we date older guys is that they are more mature then the majority of young guys out there now,i mean its not like we don't like young guys or guys our age its just that some girls need more then just a guy with looks,wild,and to have fun they need more then that

Probably all of those reasons, but i dated 2 older men and just had nothing in common with them so it didn't go far. So I guess its to each his /her own

to be very honest, it's the way an older man treats you, older men are much more into pleasing a younger woman and i think its because they want to keep a young woman to make themselves look good to their friends, anyway, I go for older men because they are already making plenty of money and dont care to spend it on me.....quid pro quo

guys my age are usually imature and older guys have been around the block and they know what to do. well im dating a guy that is older than me and we have been dating for just about 2 years. i think it is better to date older since they are more mature.

maturity level... i'm 26, and guys my age are only out to party and have fun.. if i want someone on my level i have to look to the older guys..
