Hi Katie, I am not sure it would be called spiritual power, but certainly stones and crystals have energies. Every living thing in the Universe is made up of energy which must have an affect. I love crystals and have several. I have also received crystal healing and I can certainly tell you that I felt the energies from those crystals. They help to balance your own energies when these go out of sync which they often do with our hectic and emotional life styles. I hope you decide to delve further into this lovely subject. PS the Amethyst stone helps with your intuition and spiritual work. x

I do. Stones are made by the earth, and I believe that everything made by the earth has some kind of spirit or life force. I've had some amazing experiences with the different energies of stones. Give them a chance & you'll see. You can probably get a book from the libray that will tell you the different properties of each stone... there will be some variation, becuase its really through our own interpetions (which are afeected by our own spiritual belivef's & experiences) that the stones present their powers to us.
Of corse sythetic stones or man-made stones grown in a labratory to not have a spirit, so make sure you're gettting genuine stones made by our Mother Earth.

No it's all just a placebo effect. There are people in the Philippines who actually believe that having a stone will help them run faster, jump higher and fight for longer. But it doesn't do any of that of course, its all just in there head. The stone didn't do any of that. It was them.

Well, since NASA scientist - NASA SCIENTISTS - recognize that you can harness the energy in crystals and use it in rocket science, and since people (like me) who believe in the power of stones are looking to harness this energy, I am still stumped when people say that they're just rocks.
Yes, I believe in the power of stones in ritual work. I don't know as I'd define it as "spiritual power", but they certainly have energy that you can feel and utilize.

A stone once killed a giant. a stone flying through the air can cause serious damage. a stone can really hurt when your body is trying to pass one. Spiritual powers doubt it!!!

In general, I don't believe in that kind of superstition - but since there's no way of knowing whether anything is real at all, I won't write them off as being total nonsense.

The south Koreans have this kind of religion. They do worship stones, totems. It is still very popular up to this day.

katie: all things in creation have a kind of spirit in variation and vibration. please, come down off the fence and experiment some more, there is so much to know and learn. i to carry certain stones on my person. and yes, there is success where there wasn't before.
