I absolutely love peanut butter, but sadly that is one of the many foods I have cut from my diet, because of the fat and calories. Is there any good foods out there that will help me get rid of my killer peanut butter craving, and keep me on my diet as well? Thanks.

If you are on a low calorie diet, I would suggest measuring out half a serving of peanut butter and then eat it with some celery or an apple. You will still get your fix of peanut butter and still stay healthy and the calories will be kept down. (Plus I would use the regular kind not the reduced fat, they both have the same calories and the regular one will be more satisfying). Otherwise I would try soy butter.
I did that with mayonaise, the soy mayonaise has about 30-40 calories per serving as opposed to regular mayonnaise.

I can not think of any alternatives to peanut butter.....in my opinion when you want something, then that is the only thing you can think about! Instead of cutting it out completely why not allow yourself to go ahead and have a small amount.....maybe a folded over peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a couple saltine crackers with a dab of peanut butter will do the trick?
I have been buying the Smuckers brand of peanut butter for a few years. It is all natural and a bit healthier for you, so you won't feel quite as guilty plus it is so good tasting.

In a diet you should not make yourself go without what you love most or you will fail. 1200-1400 calorie diet can surely afford a little peanut butter here and there.

Peanut's themsleves are a good sourc of protien and so is peanut butter, can I ask unless I'm being too personal, why you cut them out of your diet in the 1st place?
Sorry if I'm being too inquisitive!
Hope this helps!

peanut butter is a good source of protein as well as fat since it contains natural sources of fat that are healthy. Pretty much any fat that is of plant or fish origin is healthy. Infact fats of this origin actually increase the productivity of your thyroid glands.

quit beating yourself up... work it to your program. moderation is the key... natural peanut butter has many healthy qualities stay away from hydrogentated oils in most peanut butter. its all a matter of prorioties... if you rework your plan a bit there is room for peanut butter i'm sure.

Try raw peanuts...while not as tasty as peanut butter, they do resemble it and they are good for you.

I don't know the answer, but you're not alone! My weakness is chocolate chip cookies and my manager just brought some in. So I'm gonna have to force myself not to touch them. Its gonna be hard but I can do it. You can too.
