My husband and I went to Tahiti (Moorea and Bora Bora). It was recommended to me by a friend who is a travel agent. It was absolutely beautiful there. We stayed in a bungalow over the ocean. Our coffee table was glass and we could see and feed the fish below us (the top slid open). We snorkeled with small sharks and stingrays. It was just fabulous.

Garden Route, South Africa.
All within 450 km's drive from Cape Town. George for Fancourt (featured on PS2 Tiger Woods games) and King George Golf Clubs. Home to some of the best beaches in the world. 30 mins away you have a town called Knysna with its own brewery. Not forgetting that SAB Miller is now the 2nd biggest brewery in the world as well. There is the Storms River Bridge that holds the record for the worlds longest commercial bungee about 2 hours up the east coast from George and then of course, 30 mins from there you have the best right-breaking wave (for surfing) on the planet; Jeffreys Bay. Also, there are places like Montague just outside Cape Town that have natural springs and spa's.

Not a Good time of the year to visit the Caribbean as it is hurricane season, you might be OK but then again?
My favourite place was the Seychelles, there are a couple of golf courses on Mahe Island, the beaches are fantastic.
It was a bit pricey when I went, you want at least half board, all inc' would be great.
What about Bermuda more golf per sq mile than anywhere else in the world.

You need somewhere warm and relaxing, and, if you can afford it after the wedding costs, luxurious! Are you in the UK? Try the trailfinders website or Kuoni for some wonderful ideas. I went to Mexico, the Riviera Maya and Mexico City was wonderful but there are lots of places to chose from so think carefully to get the perfect place! You can sometimes get upgrades if you say you're on honeymoon so try to make the most of it! Think of what you'd like to do - if you want to see lots of different places how about a cruise?

The Caribbean of course. You have lots of choices. But let me tell you - Tobago is the best - great beaches and golf courses too. You can look it up on the web - look for Trinidad & Tobago West Indies.

It should be a place where comfort is provided, yes, but geography, and climate decided, it is best a place either of you have not been, with adventure to highten. Alaska is wide open, consider that long train ride through it.
