Stop eating sugar and white breads (including pasta). Instead, eat more fruit, veggies and whole grain breads (and pastas). Also, do about an hour of aerobic activity a day along with stomach crunches. The crunches will depend on how in shape (or out of shape) you are right now. If really, badly out of shape, see a doctor first to make sure you will be okay to exercise. If just mildly out of shape, start with 20 good form, slow stomach crunches (lay on your back, knees bent, feet flat on floor, head up, hands interlocked behind your head) where you hold at the up position for a count of 5. Breathe out going up, breathe in going down. Do that for about 2 weeks then try to work your way up to 50 reps. When not exercising make yourself hold in your belly at all times. Stay conscious and pull the muscles in. This also helps to firm and strengthen your core.

Drink water even if you don't want to. It really helped me over the summer when I used to work at a cucumber pack warehouse, I would drink a cup after another the whole 8-9 hours of work. Just to have something to do not because I was thirsty, oh and I wasn't trying to lose weight either, but I did, I lost about 10 pounds in like 4 weeks and because I worked out regularly, I had a rockhard 6-pack. It would definately work for you.

the best advice is to go on a lemonade diet. Mix 8 oz of real lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of class B maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of honey, and add water to make it a gallon. Then stir it well and drink a few glasses a day. This will empty your liver which can hold up to 15lbs of toxins! This also allows your liver to break down more fat.

You cannot not burn fat in one specific body area only. Your genetics determine where your body will burn the fats stores from when you diet and exercise. There have been some studies that indicate that using "interval training" for your cardiovascular workouts increases the amount of fat being burned from your stomach. Interval training involves a series of all-out exercise with periods of slow exertion inbetween. Being a statistician, I am not a believer in the studies, especially when they don't publish the important statistical measures that test significance.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
