Im only 16, obviosuly still in my teens, Ive worked hard in life, with school, now gone to college, so far ive got my head around everything thats been thrown at me, and it had worked out fine.
Im a fan of girls and I get my fare share of attention, sometimes the attention is more seriouse and leads to relationships.
Ive never been able to get my head around Love, and why it hurts me so much, each time I fall for someone, I dont mean to, but it ends up hurting.
Whats everyones ideas on love and jelousy, and why it hurts so much more then friendship.

You first have to understand what love is. I cannot tell you what love is. Love is different to everyone. Only you will know when you are in love. But you have not been in love trust me. Falling for someone doesn't mean that you love them. I think that you are infatuated. You are in love with the idea of being in love. You want to experience it sooooo bad that the slightest emotional feeling you get for a girl you assume it is love. You are still young. I am not saying that you cannot experience love but the first step to being in love is being in a relationship.
Now people hurt people, love cannot hurt you.
There is a saying that goes 'we hurt the ones we love the most' . It means that because you love someone or someone loves you any action by either party will cause them to feel it more because they are in love.
When you love someone, they can do you just about anything in the world and it would not bother you. They can burn you and you will cry and you will tell them never to speak to you again but at the end of the day you will find yourself making an excuse for what they did. You will try to justify their actions.
It is very important to remember though that just because you love someone, it doesn't mean that they will love you back. That is one way of knowing that you really are in love. You don't care if they don't love you as much as you love them. They tell you that they do not feel the same and it makes absolutely no difference to you. you still love them. This is the best outlook i can give at the spur of this moment.
A word of advice before i go however. NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH ANYONE. YOU WILL FALL AND MASH UP YOUR FACE.

This is how love is meant to be. Not looked for, it will come when the time is right. I know it may be hard to realize no, but i am waiting now and i know that it will come some day. You have to be patient. If it is something that you are feeling that is not at the top then it really was not love to begin with. Hope that this helps!!

well,love is a privillege not a must.it is ot b tended to,nurture and cared for.holding to long wil cause it to break but letting it go too fast will maek it slip away.
love is wen u look in to a person's eyes and u see a superior in their eyes,a sense of thme being te rite one for u,the only thing that could ever somplete u ,goog luck with love and i hope u never get hurt as bad as i have,oh love is also abt sacrifice.it will come at ap oint were u willl have to gve yr happiness and love for antoher and it will hurt but u will end up becoming stronger and a renewed person.peace.

If your truly in Love there is no jealousy and no hurt. Of course your going to have your quarrels every now and then but that's only to keep things interesting. Love only hurts when it's lust. Friendships don't hurt because they last forever. It doesn't matter if you haven't talked to someone in 3 years, if they see you out somewhere they will talk to you like they saw you yesterday.
