The answer is definately no way. The fact that u say u are not ready to stop seeing other men is a sure sign u are no where near ready for marriage. He probably asked u out of insecurity. Not only is there an age gap but he probably has fear of losing u to someone else and is trying a desperate measure. As far as his daughter goes I don't know the details to that problem, but it would be nice if u could at least have a civil relationship with her before anything like marriage happens because that can cause alot of problems in the future. Marriage should only happen when u are 100% sure u want to spend the rest of your life with that person, and never before that.

If you have to ask, then obviously you shouldn't. I am married to someone who is 13 years older than me. We got together when I had just turned 19. Been together almost 11 years, and married for 2. He has kids from a previous marriage who are closer to my age than he is. For a while, the age difference was not a factor, now it is more evident. I think if you have any doubts at all, don't do it!

i think you know the answer to that. If you already have doubts then obviously you don't need to marry him. His daughter just hates you cause your only 8 years older than her. That's all. She can't look at you from a mother stand point. Your more of a big sister age. It kinda freaks her out.

Good luck what ever you choose.

his daughter is 16..just eight years younger to you. Other thing- no teenager girl would like her father dating a women who is not even 10 years older to her. But its better you think yourself about it. Its a decision of your future life. He can't wait coz he has got a much younger girl! What a luck! And in a few days his daughter would be an adult!

If you even have to consider asking this question, then the answer is NO. When you KNOW the answer in your heart, then it is time to marry. Otherwise, it is best to skip it. It is a tough situation to be in, but it happens all the time. If you marry when you are uncertain, though, it almost guarantees that you will be unhappy. Good luck!

Well the fact that you just asked this question on Yahoo answers, and of course that you said you still want to see other men, tells me the answer to your question is obvious. NO YOU SHOULD NOT MARRY HIM. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

If you don't think you are ready to settle down then don't! You will just end up living unhappily married fantasizing about other men and maybe cheating one day. Live your life now and settle down later you are still young.

Do not marry him. If you want to see other men then you are not ready to get married. Be honest with him now so he doesn't wind up getting hurt.
